Eats batteries

I bought this cheap and cheerful laser level for $20 to use on some household projects. It works okay by hanging it on the wall with poster putty (included). What I quickly learned is that it eats batteries. A set of batteries lasts about 30 minutes, which limits the usefulness of the laser level. It takes three watch batteries and a set runs about $7, so after a couple hours of usage, I've spent more on watch batteries than the what I paid for the laser level. Batteries and adhesive don’t last long

Bought this after reading positive reviews. It worked decently in the beginning but had issues where batteries don’t last long and the laser light becomes useless. Additionally, not a fan of the adhesives it came with. Threw it to the ground in frustration and will be buying a different one.

weak line

Returning due to not being able to see outside in the sunlight

Its okay. The line is not clear in all areas it fades out and then back in across a straight line.

whats with that wall putty???

It’s a weak laser, but they do tell you it’s 15’. Its still not cery bright and i had to turn the lights off to see the line on the wall. In general, maybe its ok, but they really, like REALLY, need to get rid of that putty crap. It fell off the wall in the middle of hanging one, single picture. I mashed it on the wall really hard the second time and it was ok. But... they dont give you very much, so you’ll have to find a source for replacement putty for the back. This was a good product in theory but it was an epic fail. The line it creates is not straight at all. And when I tried to use it anyway it died in the middle of my project. It was straight out of the box and it died. I would not recommend this at all

Great tool

Works great! I put up shelfs and needed them to be level. This tool worked perfectly. I used just a little bit of the putty and it held perfectly. I put my big long level just to make sure and everything was level. This tool saved me SO much time!! I now have confidence for my next project. I also liked having the level bubble on this tool. Every tool box should have this tool.

You get what you pay for

I did not like anything about this level it feels cheap out of the box. the sticky putty does not work unless the surface is spot clean.

Calibration off.

It lost calibration the first time I used it. Not worth the money. Now I have to return and get another one. Hassle.
