For an old countertop this was an affordable option and it came out very nice. I dont have any information as far as durability yet.

A little goes a long way

Not worth the trouble

I’m so surprised that people rated this product so high but it’s probably because of the fumes this creates. I couldn’t be in my house for three days with my kids. We had every door and window open, fans on and the smell was still so strong. I got two different types of rollers and neither helped to avoid streaks. Miracle worker

Bought this in the ash gray color in a last attempt to not spend a ton on new countertops. We had burnt pot and coffee stains left from the previous home owner. After two coats of paint it was completely unnoticeable and beautiful. For the first time i love being in the kitchen again. On a side note i would highly reccomended looking up mixtures to get a marble look as well as making sure to use a smooth surface paint roller. Complete miracle worker

Works wonders

We recently purchased a 20 year old house, that had dark pink countertops in the master bath. Since updating other rooms my budget did not allow for new countertops in this room. So We went with this paint. The top took 4 coats of paint, with light sanding between coats. We choose to make the top white. After the painting was done we left it cure for 3 days before using. Great color and easy to do!

This product was great. We did 2 coats as suggested and it has held up great so far. The surface does seem to have some water spots from cleaning as I am too lazy to wipe down and dry. You are limited to roughly 20 colors but the range is good and we were able to color match the other colors in bathroom to it, as well as matching to existing colors. This is great solution to yucky laminate colors without replacing laminate.

Awesome product!

after trying Gianni kit a couple years ago, I was not happy with the way the product held up---it didn't; so since this was considerably less money I decided to give it one more try. Sanded, scraped, and scoured off the Gianni mess and applied ONE coat of this Rust-oleum. WOW! Looks like I installed new counters, it's been on for six months and NO degradation---still looks like new countertops! I waited to be certain I wasn't going to be disappointed and mislead. BUY this stuff!

Do not buy

I wish I had read the reviews before buying and painting my counter with this stuff. The worst part is how bad it stinks up the entire house. It took 2 days after each coat of running the fan and having the window open in my bathroom to get the smell to clear. Air bubbles are a problem with this paint. They were worse when I re-coated after 1 hour. If you do use this stuff, wait 24 hours between each coat. I also added 1 oz. of water to this paint in my paint tray and that eliminated the air bub...

Countertop resurfacing kit

Bought it from Lowe’s store and used it for an old kitchen counter. Product is easy to use and 12 color to choose. Looking very good and saved lots of money.
