Dissatisfied

While we were so excited to change up our kitchen this product isn’t what we expected. Two coats and three days later we still can’t use the counter. Everything you place on it leaves a mark. We had to do two coats because one didn’t cover laminate. So two cans and 65 bucks later we are ready for something else. This advertisement is a shame. I suppose going the cheaper route is certainly “cheaper”

So, I finished my bathroom countertops about 3 months ago. I really only have 2 issues. The first one that I noticed is that if water gets on it, it will leave really light water spots. After you wipe them up, they do eventually go away for the most part. My second issue that I just realized is that you cannot get Hydrogen Peroxide on it. Best move I made updating my Formica kitchen counter top.

I bought this paint to paint my countertops. I did everything from sanding, tachy cloths, priming to painting with the correct rollers. We got pin hole bubbles and had to sand down them and repaint another coat. Let it cure for two weeks. We are being really careful with anything we set on it. Beware the oder

Looks good. Takes days to fully dry. The smell is horrible but once dry, you don't smell it.

It did not last long. I did 3 coats. 4 days left dry between coats. Less than 6 months, it started peel off and stained.

Paint over bathroom sink and countertop

Oh yeah. Painting over both countertop and sink makes it easier.

Worked great for me

Awesome results We just refurbished a vintage travel trailer. We mostly used all Restoleum products throughout. This was really convenient and easy to use. We replaced all of the counter tops from the kitchen to the bathroom. Because it is only a twenty foot trailer we did not have much counter top to cover. Worst product I’ve ever used

I do custom epoxy countertops and paint professionally and a client asked me to used this product for A LOT of counter top… we left it drying for two weeks because she was going out of town (more than enough time to cure) home was well ventilated. 2 weeks later the odor is still very strong and the product is still tacky and easily indents. Not worth the time, money, energy, patience, or supplies lost to apply. Thumbs down

Not so great product

I was so excited to get a counter top color that I liked. Lowe's mixed it up perfectly. I made sure to clean, sand and clean some more. At first they really looked good. I waited the three days before putting anything on them and then this..(photos) I put my coffee maker on the counter and the feet left a print in the paint. Works great

This works great and it looks awesome after 4 coats. But the smell is toxic. Left windows open and fan blowing and had to leave all day. The smell was so bad.

Did the job !

When applying this paint you have to use a small roller brush . Used this paint at my vacation property home. It looks really good. You have to wait before applying the 2nd and 3rd application in order for it to look good!

Great Results

We had a engineerd top on our bathroom vanity, which was stained and looked dirty all the time. We used the Rust-Oleum for countertops and it turned out really nice. Yes, the smell was strong but worth it, our countertop looks beautiful.

Difficult to apply

The odor was extremely strong. Plan on being out of the home for at least a day after application. My husband and I did multiple coats and it never turned out well. We had issues with streaks and drips.

Amazing transformation with little cost/effort!

I LOVE how easy this resurfacing paint is to apply and it completely transformed my kitchen from dated-looking yellow formica to a very modern-looking gray. I first applied it about 5 years ago and recently just sanded out a few chips and applied a new coat in the areas that get the most wear - looks amazing and lasts!!
