Terrible qualify paint

It was very thick. It had chunks in it even though I got it shaken and then stirred it for over 5 minutes right before painting. Went on unevenly. Dried very fast! Also no joke it smells so strong - definitely need ventilation and a serious mask!! After second coat it looked so bad I decided to strip/scrape it off which was a huge pain and required buying more products. Frustrated and disappointed is an understatement. Looking for new countertop paint solutions. Ugh help!

Check the color before you leave the store

The colors on the side of the can are not what you get when mixed. I ordered cobblestone and when mixed it was not the color on the label. If it weren’t for a really sharp paint specialist in another Lowe’s who remixed the paint, I couldn’t have used the paint. Covered well and has an excellent finish

Amazing

It made my tired old Formica countertops look amazing. The only problem was trying to get the product. More Lowe’s need to stock this. It’s amazing.

Really good product

This product was a lot better than I thought it would be. I saved over $100 by using this product versus a more expensive product to do the same thing.

As advertised

Painted existing painted countertops with similar color. Worked very well - just be sure to allow enough time between coats for a smooth finish, and allow enough time for proper curing before using counters. Finish is a glossy enamel. Good short/mid term solution to improve appearance for very little money.

Lots of fumes, inconsistent drying, tinting is limited.

Do not buy

Do not buy this product. Just use some paint with a sealer like poly acrylic or beyond paint sealer(this is what I have used on my bathroom countertops and they are fine and took LESS time). 1. The smell is horrible and yes I had windows open and fans going and after day 3 you will still have the smell in house. This can not be safe to have in the kitchen. 2. It’s very thick. Fills in small holes. Dries quickly. However of you brush it on it does leave brush marks. It’s easy to texture as it dries.

Does not wear well

Bought this and re-did my counters about a year ago. Looked great at first but a year later my counters are covered in dings and chips.

Counter top paint

Great product! Very easy to use and you can't tell it's been painted!

This product is horrible and expensive for the turnout. It looks like silly-putty is on the cabinet.

Very soft even after drying

Countertop was ruined. After 3 weeks the surface is still soft and leaves indentations when coffee pot was set on it. Thick and does not roll out smooth.

Paint chipped after two coats !!! Only thing on countertop was coffee pot!! Do not recommend for price!!!

Worst paint I ever used

I have done many do-it-yourself jobs over the last 35 years but this paint is the worst. I attempted to paint over for Micah on a bathroom counter which was smooth and clean. After 3:00 attempted coats the surface was still rough cracked and showing brushstrokes. The paint also smells horrible and made everyone in the house sick feeling. It took 3 days of venting to clear the smell. I am now trying to figure out how to either remove the paint or paint over it. Total waste of money and time.

Wow

Came out nice. Was a little nervous before but it went on smoothly and dried fast. Follow the directions on the can! Don’t listen to the guys in the paint department.

Does not hold up

I prepped the countertop and applied as per the label. I had to do three thin coats. As soon as I put the last coat on it made the underlying layers start to crackle and I can see every single mark left by the sander. I will say it looks kinda cool and I was planning on keeping it that way, but then a picture frame got slid across the top and it gouged it.
