We love the headphone option for when we want to be in the same space but I'm reading and he's watching a loud action movie. It holds its charge well and we can use it to control our DVD player. Would Not RecommendI was excited to have a rechargeable remote. However, when I got it home and tried to use it, I discovered it does not support my television. I was shocked, because my old Roku remote had successfully supported my BenQ projector for YEARS. In fact, this remote has _FAR LESS_ BenQ codes (4 total) than the older Roku remote (16 total). Do not sell the functionality of the buttons on it to whatever streaming services are paying Roku the most at the time that I purchase the remote. I may or may not use those services now. But that didn't last long. Now I have to charge it constantly. It will say the battery is 100% but then less than 2 minutes later you have to plug it in again because it's dead. I absolutely hate this remote and wish I had kept the original remote with batteries.

Would Not RecommendAfter recharging the battery only 3 times, the remote quit taking a charge. Although it will now only function while plugged into a cord, it's not entirely worth replacing after the equivalence of 6 AA batteries.
