This is my 2nd remote. The 1st remote worked fine out of the box with the Roku device as well as my Panasonic T.V. for about a month and a half. I am forever reprogramming this remote to get it to work on my LG tv. This is no solution. Though I liked it when it actually worked, I’d rather have something that works consistently. Great thing is, worked past the 30 day guarantee.

We purchased this remote a year ago. It's so easy to use, especially for searches. We love the headphone option for when we want to be in the same space but I'm reading and he's watching a loud action movie. It holds its charge well and we can use it to control our DVD player. We'd definitely buy it again.

Supports LESS TVs than my old Roku remote!

I was excited to have a rechargeable remote. However, when I got it home and tried to use it, I discovered it does not support my television. I was shocked, because my old Roku remote had successfully supported my BenQ projector for YEARS. In fact, this remote has _FAR LESS_ BenQ codes (4 total) than the older Roku remote (16 total). I have had this remote about 1 month and it worked perfectly until about a week ago. Now when I plug in my head phones the remote freezes and no private listening. When I unplug the head phones the remote functions (minus private listening) return. This very ad says that my Roku TV is compatible.

I really hate the fact that Roku remotes pre-program streaming services that I can not change. I am paying for this remote. Do not sell the functionality of the buttons on it to whatever streaming services are paying Roku the most at the time that I purchase the remote. I may or may not use those services now. And they may, or may not, still even be in business in a year.

I’ve had this remote for a couple of months, when it works it works great. The volume control disappears periodically and am unable to control volume. I just discovered that our sons remote (same model) does the same thing. Apparently this is a common problem.

I synced the new remote. Worked great for 2 days and then no more tv control for volume or power. Voice works and other buttons work. The reason I bought this remote was for the power and volume. I have purchased 7 or 8 Roku’s over the years and this is the first time I’ve had an issue with any remote.

I have 3 Roku Voice Pros and the rechargeable 2 ones I have were ok at first and a couple months in they have to be plugged in most of the time. The 1 I have with aa batteries lasts a long time so buyers beware of the rechargeable ones. Second, the customer service emails must be coming out of some 4th world country because they keep saying they want to help then nothing. I was so excited that I would never have to search for batteries again, I thought this would be perfect. It started out that I only had to charge it once every 2 weeks. But that didn't last long. Now I have to charge it constantly. It will say the battery is 100% but then less than 2 minutes later you have to plug it in again because it's dead. I absolutely hate this remote and wish I had kept the original remote with batteries.

After recharging the battery only 3 times, the remote quit taking a charge. Although it will now only function while plugged into a cord, it's not entirely worth replacing after the equivalence of 6 AA batteries.
