Won't hold a charge

Would Not Recommend

Despite Roku insisting this is not normal. The internet is filled with people like me who's remote won't charge or hold a charge. No other remotes paired Tried re-pairing the remote. Voice never even used much less be turned on All night charge equals 11 percent battery. Get the battery one until Roku either acknowledges that there is an actual issue, and/or fixes it for future models.

Would Recommend

Well built, has provisions to program/control 2 extra app hard buttons. Hands free voice control select button or push to talk control button choice is cool. Works especially well with Roku brand TV with easy pairing instructions. I believe there are protective cases available to protect remote, however remote appears to already be ruggedized. I like. Let me know what you think.

Won’t keep charge!!!

Only had this remote for 4 months and it won’t hold a charge. To use it I have to keep it plugged in. Contacted customer service and they told me I had to contact my roku tv brand because they have “specific” remotes which before I bought this I made sure it was compatible.

I bought this remote a few months ago and it's Malfunctioning I tried to talk to a support person and they told me that I needed to find a remote that was compatible with my T.V. and to contact my TV manufacturer about a remote.I bought this remote bc it said at the top of this page it's compatible with my TV so I am not understanding how I couldn't get any help with this product that I bought.

Garbage. 3 flakey and 1 won't hold charge

Bought 5. Not even a year old and one will not hold a charge. A second one sometimes works. Sometimes doesn't. I was HOPING these would be better than the standard ones that come with the stick. Nope. Waste of money. I've been a Roku user forever. No complaints with the streaming device but the remotes? Horrible reliability. The last good ones came with the Roku 3. Looking at 3rd party alternatives now.

This remote is very poorly made. The earphone jack clearly has a short and simply goes out and comes back at another volume setting-- if it comes back at all. The buttons connect erratically. It is useless.

Bought in April and it is not working now in November. Headphone is no longer working for private viewing and using headphones on the remote for sound. No help is available for repair or getting replacement except REORDER NEW REMOTE.

I purchased this with an ultra. I have an LG OLED TV that is not that old, 3 years, I think. I was really excited about the voice control and mute button. BUT it won't work with this TV. I would have liked to have known this before I bought it, but didn't see anywhere on the website that suggested this.
