It doesn't work half the time

I absolutely love the features! However, the battery 🔋 status constantly pops up in the corner of the screen. Only then will the remote work. It's fully charged and there's nothing obstructing my Roku device. Suggestions?

battery bad less than 1 year

cant contact customer support this company is horrible for support. been trying for 2 days and nobody to chat with and no responses.

Headphone Jack

Have had this remote for a little over a year. Now the Jack is not working. I use it nightly. Not a happy customer.

Backlit buttons

Why does it have a backlit feature 🤔 it has everything else it would be amazing if it did! I love the roku but I hate when I press the wrong button n it takes me to another app, ooo what's up with not being able to install 3rd party apps, the fire stick let's u install 3rd party apps! And thank you for The private listening is the one feature I bragged to all my family n friends!

Can I select a show with voice

This works perfectly but I can't select a show or episode by voice. Am I doing something wrong or do I need to use the remote to do this. Otherwise love it day 1.

Charging cable won't stay connected

This is a great remote…when I'm able to charge it. From the start the charging cord that came with it wouldn’t stay connected and 10 months after purchase none of the charging cords I have will stay connected, so I can’t use the remote. I’m very disappointed. A loyal and long-term customer.

Stopped working after a year

I loved this remote until it stopped working! The battery wasn’t able to hold a charge anymore making the remote inoperable. *this remote stopped working right after the 1 year warranty ran out* tech support told me to buy a new one…

Works great after help from customer support

Although initially I was unable to pair this Roku Voice Remote Pro with my Roku Ultra device, by contacting the customer support service I received instructions which I was eventually able to carry out successfully. Since then the Remote has performed perfectly for over a month. In spite of the difficulties at the beginning, I am quite pleased wth the purchase, and with the customer support.

Where have you been all my life!?

LOVE this remote! Super easy to set up. Either the remote or the TV jumps in and helps you along. You don't even need the 2 personal shortcut buttons, all you got to do is say "hey Roku put on sling" and it does it! You can ask it what time it is or ask it to find comedies or even find your remote! Which I haven't tried yet. I love you can plug in an ear phone jack and listen privately. It works great, and I highly recommend it.

I love my Roku rechargeable remote. It works as advertised. I'm buying one for my brother for his birthday. I'm sure he'll love it too.

Needs USB-C

Micro-usb is outdated and makes charging it an extra hassle, annoying. Otherwise very good.

Battery died, Roku couldn't help

Bought the remote less than a year ago and all of a sudden it stopped working. Love that it was rechargeable and even though we had to charge the remote several times (Replaceable batteries would've easily lasted longer), it's better than throwing batteries into e-waste. Only problem is that we now have to throw the rechargeable battery away (or the whole remote), cause it's dead. Apparently there's no warranty on the remotes, even though it's been less than a year. Tried to work with support, b...

battery lasted almost 2 years

After two years the remote no longer accepts a charge. After charging all night, trying various chargers and cables, the battery level is 68%. Another annoyance is this device complains constantly if you turn off the "hands free" setting.

I bought this to replace the remote I lost it did not come in and packaging came justvas the remote with no owners manual nothing, theres no power button no volume, mute or voice recieved nothing like what was advertised also reaching out to support was nearly impossible to find.

The volume and mute buttons work sporadically, which is quite annoying! If I tap (hard) the left side of the remote against my hand, that will often help. However, “bruising” my hand hardly seems like a satisfactory solution!!!!!

Must Have :-(

Unfortunately. It works no better than the battery powered version. It does seem to hold a charge pretty well so I like not constantly changing batteries. I call it a must have since when either is jumping around the screen or simply won’t work, we now have a second one to pick up. Usually one of them is working properly - until it’s not.

Headset issues

The headset stopped working properly after five months. I was able to pull it halfway out of the port and get it to work but now it doesn’t connect at all.

Loved it when it works

This was a great remote for about 6 months. It need recharged frequently, volume control don’t work, and voice control works half of the time. Needs some improvement for the price.

mute button sucks

the mute button is level so i have to use my fingernail to use it. i'm sure the reason is to force me to use voice so they can take all my personal information. * on non-voice activated remotes the button is perfect*. prove me wrong. to prove it when i signed in they WANT PERSONAL INFO and location

Was nice when it worked

Ive had troubles on and off with the power and volume buttons randomly not working. Now it’s not working again and my tv remote isn’t turning on the tv, so I can’t turn it on at all. So now I have to get a new tv since I can’t synch up a new remote to the roku because I can’t turn on the tv. Don’t buy this.
