See loved the design and thought it a fluke so she bought another BVMC-SJX36GTWM but 3 months later the warming plate is not working. We will attempt the warranty process This time. For example I would put my coffee and water in and SEVERAL time the coffee didn't all go in the pot it would pour out crazy and run all over my counter! What a mess! And when you take your filters out coffee gets everywhere, it's just a mess! Wish I would've gotten a different coffee pot when I bought this one but it seemed like it would be a really good one, very disappointed!!

Poor Packaging
Would Not RecommendPurchased model # BVMC-SJX33GT . The coffeemaker was very difficult to remove from the box and carafe shattered when it fell to the floor. A new carafe cost $20.00 which is two-thirds of the price I paid for the whole thing. Needless to say I am very disappointed and perturbed about the whole thing .

No Brew
Would Not RecommendI bought the red and black Mr Coffee maker about a year ago. It worked great till recently. It started to take for ever to brew. What used to take 10min for 2 cups took 30. Then yesterday it stopped brewing all together. It heats up and gets warm but nothing comes out. It's not right for something to give out in a year. If it is under warranty still I wouldn't know where my receipt is.

Short Life
Would Not RecommendLess than a year old. Put 6 cups of water in, lucky to get 4 cups of coffee out. Where does the other 2 cups go? Don't know. By the sounds of the unit it seems to be boiling the other 2 cups of water away, if thats possible.

Would Not RecommendFrom time to time the basket type filter slips down and allows coffee grounds to enter the carafe of coffee. The reason is that the movable arm that distributes the water into the filter is too short and does not distribute the water to the center of the filter. Instead the water enters the filter at the edge which weights down one edge of the filter allowing the grounds to bypass the filter paper.
