I bought this pot 3 days ago and I am so disappointed with it. I have used Mr Coffee pots since they first came out on the market and I have never before had one that I didn't thoroughly enjoy using. But whoever designed this pot did not know what they were doing. First off, the clock doesn't light up so you can't hardly see it. I continue to purchase the Mr. Coffee Brand. Approximately 10 years ago I purchased a similar Mr. Coffee device and Accessories: extra Urn, Handle, Gold Coffee Basket and the primary filter holder device. Well fortunately the accessories are still the same, which I love. I still had the 20 year old Mr. Coffee Machine, however there was a leak in the feeder tube. Coffee blues

We received this coffee maker as a Christmas gift and were very excited for the programming feature. After only 3 weeks of use, it began leaking terribly, not brewing a full pot, and the clock fogged up to the point that it doesn't work anymore (making the programmable feature useless). Disappointing is an understatement.

Grounds in coffee

Lately, every time we make a half to full pot of coffee, the basket over flows and we end up with grounds in our coffee and here's remaining water in the grounds like it isn't draining all the way. We've cleaned it and it still continues. If I make only four cups we have no problem. We've switched our coffee numerous times thinking that may be the problem... nope. So we switched coffee filters a few times... still not the problem... can anyone help?

I bought this coffee maker for the look and style. After three uses the basket broke. Went to buy another basket it broke as well since the water overflowed because the bottom of the basket broke. As bad as the first one!

This the second coffee maker I've had to buy in less than a year and a half. The first one would brew but the coffee was lukewarm. I assumed the heating element went bad. Made the mistake of buying another one and it only lasted 3 months. Everything lights up but it doesn't even brew. Single person household brewing 4 cups of coffee a day, once in the morning. Doesn't seem too extreme or overworked to me. Buyer beware!

Satisfied until the coffee maker simply stopped

We purchased this after using similar Mr. Coffee models several times in timeshares while traveling. I was very pleased until this weekend when the unit simply stopped brewing. The lights were on, it felt warm on the exterior, but the water pump never started. A good coffee maker should last years, not 6 months.

The red one I loved

Would Not Recommend

I have had this for about 6 months and then it seemingly took on a life of its own. I would fill it to brew a full pot, but it would only make a half, then the coffee would be too strong or weak randomly. It would start cutting off halfway or right after it would finish brewing, and now, it won't even brew at all. Very disappointed because I went to several stores looking for this pot in this red color for our new house. I have always had great results with this brand.

Hot plate isn't hot!

We've owned this machine for about a year but only started using it recently (July/16) on a daily basis. This morning our coffee brewed as per usual however, when I went for a refill I noticed it was only lukewarm - so, I touched the hotplate area and it was barely warm. I put TWELVE tablespoons of FRESH coffee grounds for 4 cups of coffee. Hit STRONG brew and the coffee was STILL WEAK. I could see through it and it was super gross. Nothing I do makes a good cup of coffee in this thing.

disappointed in this product

I bought this coffee maker to take to college this past summer. I have only had it 3 weeks and every time I brew the coffee it tastes awful. I have tried to switch out any of the variables that the support website said to. Very disappointing when you need coffee in the morning, especially since my family and I have been loyal Mr. Coffee customers for years.
