Very Happy with this Coffee Maker!

Had an earlier model form a few years ago... loved it and bought two more recently. One to use now and one for a spare.... no regrets, lover it. Should have bought three of them!

Buy a different brand

I bought this model 4 months ago, it failed just after warranty expired. I had to replace a previous Mr. Coffee that stopped working after 3 1/2 months, just after warranty expired. I will not buy another Mr. Coffee product again!

Love waking up to an already made pot of coffee!

What Happened to the Mr. Coffee Brand?

Mr Coffee used to be a brand I could trust. This is the second time I've had to pull out an older, cheaper Black and Decker model because my Mr. Coffee brewer has failed. The first one lasted about a year and a half, my second one less than a year. In both cases, you knew things weren't right when the finished brewing beeps happened before it finished brewing. I bought this coffee maker about 6 months ago I have always liked Mr. coffee products until now I don't know about the quality, it's stuck in program mode and won't come out of it it will not make coffee now.

Very disappointed

My first Mr. Coffee Advanced Brew 12-cup programmable coffee maker worked great! Used it daily for a few years - woke up one morning and it had decided to quit. Immediately went out and bought the same thing. First time I used it = coffee grinds everywhere!!!! I bought this coffeemaker within the last few months, can’t say for certain because I do not have the sales slip anymore. Up until this morning it was a great coffeemaker, performing much better than a very expensive one that I replaced with this Mr. Coffee, and it was such a great price. Only lasted 6 months

I got this for Christmas 6 months ago and it just stopped working. I set it to a delayed start and it's not brewing. All the lights are on and clock works fine, but even when you just hit start it won't brew. Seems like this is pretty common among the reviews. Not happy at all.

Didn't even last 2 years! ugh!

I've previously had a basic model Mr. Coffee brand coffee maker. When I was looking for a programmable coffee pot I chose this model, it seemed great until it quit working less than two years after purchasing it. It would not heat up nor brew coffee. Great!!

This was a Mother's Day gift and I love it. I don't drink coffee so I use it to brew my iced tea. Easy to use and looks great. I have the red one. Love it!!!

Coffee machine

It works really well. It makes a great cup of coffee and really easy to use. I wish the time had a backlight but I made sure to set it in the morning.

Loved it until it stopped brewing

I had the first mr coffee make 12 cup worked great for about 7 months then lights on would brew. I went and bought same one because I love the delay brew and timer as a single mom I depend on my coffee every morning sure enough 4 months later this morning I go to make my coffee and lights are on and no coffee.

Disappointed

I have had 3 Mr. Coffee's and they all lasted for nearly 10 years each. If I hadn't moved I would probably still be using the one I had but I bought a new one for my new house and it didn't even last a year. All of a sudden it just brewed half of what it should have, the glass over the clock fogged up with moisture, the auto brew didn't work and it wouldn't turn off automatically. only worked for one month

Do not buy this product. I was very happy with this coffee pot until one morning I found all the water was on my counter and floor and not in the carafe. I cleaned up the mess and checked it out and the water seems to be leaking somehow from the tube that drains the reservoir into the thing that puts the water onto the basket. However since Mr. Coffee uses a 3 pronged screw to attach the bottom of the coffee pot, I can't get the panel off to see if this is an easy fix. I saved my receipt for...

Does a good job. Hard to see display.

After reading numerous, mostly negative reviews of this product, I thought long and hard about purchasing it. But, considering that many of the reviews for the model I previously owned and liked were also negative, I went ahead and bought it. Well, so far, so good. It actually performs somewhat better than my old one, which lasted for several years. The only fault I find with it is that the LCD display is difficult to read If the room is dark or very bright and you need to be almost at eye level...

Horrible

I bought a month ago used it twice but all the water never complete the brewing process into pot. Instead it came out on my table. Would have returned but threw the box away, and the coffee maker.

Are they supposed to be disposable?

My previous MrCoffee lasted over 25 years and when it finally stopped working I decided to go with this model. I have had it for 6 months and suddenly for no apparent reason it just stopped working. If I turn it on it beeps like it does when it's done brewing and then does nothing. I tried cleaning it, which I do regularly, and it did nothing. Very disappointing.

Makes a good cup of coffee, for a short time!

Bought one, liked it. Died within 2 months. Was replaced under warranty, that one lasted almost 4 months. Was replaced again, lasted almost 6 months. Same with all of them, lights on, no brewing. Disgusted, did not get replaced again, tired of waking up to no coffee. Bought a Hamilton Beach, love it, so far has outlasted all the Mr. Coffee.

Good features

The "kitchen clock" feature is very hard to read. A back light would be helpful since it is surrounded with black. Also, I tried using a paper filter and the pot overflowed with 10 cups water; the box should recommend using a Mr Coffee filter or basket. My filter was fine for the old coffee maker.
