Really neat product

It’s a really cool simple product. Wish there was more customization options with the screen, but it’s a shower.

Love the shower

This shower controller is great except for some difficulties when it loses the WiFi connection. It takes a lot of fiddling and resetting the unit to restore it sometimes. We had a power outage yesterday, and it got stuck showing 106 degrees but would not turn on. Manual control came back after I unplugged it and restarted. The Apple Homekit app which it tries to use couldn’t connect to it at all, so I had to use an Android phone to set up the WiFi for the app. But most of the time it is wonderfu...

Incredible

We first used the system in a hotel and from that point it was a must have in our own home. We had a new bathroom done in our Master and WOW this system is incredible

I'm Excited With This Product

I love this product. The installation was simple. Just be sure to connect the hot water to the correct side of the valve system because if you don't your water will just come out cold. The app gave me trouble adding the device and connecting to Wi-Fi but I finally got it. I have yet to see push notifications, though.

Love this system

I installed the U by Moen when I remodeled bathroom 2-1/2 years ago. I could not recommend it more highly. We love the pre-heat feature. Just tell it to start and it pauses and let's you know when your favorite temperature has been achieved.

Shower Review

Tried shower out today. Nice product overall. Buttons are a bit lethargic to the touch; have to press long and hard for unit to register. Nice to be able to program shower on cell phone app.

Looks nice, some software issues, time will tell

Just got this installed and it looks very nice. Had to retry setting it up a few times until it finally completed set up. No apparent way to change the initial color on the welcome screen for the always on menu or you can set to turn off when idle. It’d be nice to customize the color of the welcome screen. Time will tell how well it holds up and if it works consistently.

Nice controller!

This was my first experience with a digital shower system. Installation was not difficult and the instructions was precise. The app needs a little improvement as it constantly indicates the controller is offline, yet the date and time are current. It would be nice to have more contrast on the screen. It is almost impossible to read the date information. I wanted to use the water saver mode on select outputs, but from what I read is all or nothing. Overall, I am happy I chose this product.

Really Cool and Fun to Use. Requires Access Panel

This is a really fun addition to the bathroom. It is great to be able to tell Alexa to turn on the shower and to hear when the temperature is ready to get in. No freezing your hand checking on the temperature. Seeing the temperature on the panel is also nice because it has caused some family members to re-evaluate how hot they really need their showers. My only reason for 4/5 instead of 5/5 is to warn people of the need to plan ahead before installation. This isn't a simple replacemen...

A great product for home automation.

Had to work out the learning curve but when all was said and done this is a very cool product. And Moen’s tech support is some of the best I’ve ever worked with

Horrible smart interface

The smart phone and Alexa connection are terrible. Does not work most of the time. Controller works good for a simple shower controller but way overpriced for that And this is a replacement, the original failed

Up to temperature and pause

We bought the U by Moen shower and we love it. We use Goggle Home to turn on the shower presets. The water gets up to temperature and pauses until we get in. Controls are simple and the system was very easy yo setup. Even the connection to the network.

Works great, easy to install

Looks awesome, it is nice to either push one button and/or start shower from phone and step in to exact water temperature you have chosen.

Great while it lasted

Great product while it worked for the first 8 months then screen went blank and does not turn on. Customer service phone line doesn't receive warranty calls and website does not give an email address to contact for warranty claims. Any assistance would be appreciated considering there's no way to use shower now.

Love it

I love this product. In the past I had to take almost 5 min to adjust the temp but not anymore. This is the greatest thing ever. I love all your products

Super nice quality

Bought a system for my master bathroom remodel and loved it so much I remodeled my other bathroom tub shower as well. Super high end technology and fancy.

Bought this at the start of a (terrible) renovation project, and only got it installed one year later. No drama. Just works. App downloaded, got shower control on my profile, and voila, she works.... just like that

Straightforward Installation

When planning a bathroom remodel, I ran across the U by Moen digital shower system and knew it was something I wanted to try. The installation was straightforward with the walls open during the remodel. I was able to place the controls on the opposite end of the shower from the shower head and the valve is located in a closet. The instructions for pairing with the phone app made that process easy enough.

Love it

Works great. Looks great. Love being able to start shower from my iPhone. No issues with WiFi at all.
