Great features

The product is a nice addition to my shower. It was a little difficult to install, mostly connecting the AC adapter to the unit (getting it aligned to connect was difficult.)

Works great

Wanted to add that "Wow" factor and, in combination with Alexa, it is spot on. Only complaint so far is the installation; "hot" and "cold" hookup are reversed. Standard is hot on left and cold on right. This is cold on left and hot on right. Had to add extra piping to reverse them. Otherwise, meets and exceeds expectations.

Setup difficult

I had quite a bit of trouble setting up the remote operation. After doing a factory reset, was finally able to sync the controller with my phone. Moen did reach out with an email but a toll free number could have saved some time over the weekend. I think I will really love the shower but have not had a lot of time to assess.

I bought this a year and have ago anf have been a blast, and useful. Also the inovation to upgrade and be control by voice assistance as Amazon echo is a great capavilitie.

The App is terrible

Every time you link up the app it screws up your shower. Leaving valves on that aren’t supposed to be on and even not allowing me to use the shower once. The buttons on the controller literally didn’t work at all to turn on the shower. Had to reset to factory settings and delete the app twice!

fantastic shower controller

bought this unit for our bathroom remodel. works great and is a highlight when visitors look at our new shower.

Master shower

Just installed after master bath reno. Have not uddd it much but love it so far.

Awesome New Tech

Love this new Moen shower controller. Simple, easy to use + I can turn on the shower from my bedroom using Amazon Alexa. Both my wife and I can preset different shower temps, and there are no faucet knobs to content with on the wall.

Cool product...too soon to offer along-term review

Love the idea of this but

I have now had my U Moen shower for over a year. The connectivity is absolutely horrible. I have tried with iPhones and android phones and it never works the way it should. I have also had to replace the control unit and the valve units already. Oh and fishing the long cord from the control unit to the valve is no easy task make sure your installer plans for this to fail at some point. That said I knew being one of the first it would have some issues. It has worked most of the time and is exact...

Glitchy

I bought this to sync with my Apple HomeKit. Unfortunately Apple and moen aren’t on the same page and the shower may sync with Apple but can not be operated by HomeKit. I’m sure it’s temporary until moen realizes they have a problem but disappointing that I spent a lot of money on my u by moen and it doesn’t even work with Apple. I hope you fix it!

Perfect fo walk-in shower

This was a great solution for the bathroom I just remodeled. The shower head was on a far wall, which meant that you had to either get sprayed with cold water when turning on with a traditional shower valve, or a lot more plumbing to put the valve near the shower entry. Installation strait forward and easy. The preset features are great. Set the temp you like, and leave it. No fiddling to get the temp just right.

Cool features

Set up and button control is ok, read up on it. I normally just wing it but definitely needed to read set up and user manual. Overall happy.

Almost perfect

I have owned this shower controller for about a year. For the most part it has worked flawlessly. After about 3 months the panel went dead. I fixed it by unplugging and plugging in the control module. After doing that I had to go thru a setup again. I called Moen and they helped me solve the problem. Their service is great but sometimes you can't get through to them (busy). Yesterday the shower water wouldn't come on. I fixed that by doing a power cycle. These things aren't a big deal ...

Very Nice

I like the custom programming for myself and my wife has hers. Custom temperature, custom greeting, and custom screen brightness. Although there are not enough color contrast on the screen for us reader glasses wearers (say that five time fast). Controls flow to each fixture or all of them. Very cool. Valves require access in back, so you have to place them strategically. Does not come with valve access cover so I used a Leviton electrical panel cover that is flat. Textured and painted to match ...

Car wash

Works great ease of operation, that’s all I really want to say but I have to keep typing due to the minimum amount of words that must be used for this review.

They should pay you for your time

This things got more bugs than Linus! Moen should be paying me for this!

Cool design

I have been using this device for 6 months and I love it! Showering in the digital age!
