Works as described

Installed this yesterday and simple fast setup of controller. I'm using it on a tube with a tub spout and hand sprayer. Everything works as planned with the exception of Google Home controlling it. Google says your Moen account isn't linked but it is and I am familiar enough with the many other accounts I have linked that I know it is. So there is some unusual issue there that I'm sure I'll get past perhaps with some help from Moen. I had a preinstall question about the orientation of the mixer ...

I bought this a month ago and at first I had a lot of problem getting it connected to the internet but they have replaced it and the new one works perfectly

The Best Shower Controller

I just installed a system in my second house similar to the one in my first house. Would not dream of living without my UMoen shower controller. Preset shower head and temperature, fantastic

So unique

Have had our Moen U system almost 2 years and love it. The WiFi controls are a little glitchy some time, but over all its great!

Terrible support

This was installed today and I cannot sync it to Alexa... and I cannot get help

Working Great..So Far

We added this Moen feature to our bathroom remodel and are very glad we did. Temperature control is spot on and easy!

Doesn't work to connect

It won't connect to wifi. Will only try to connect to Homekit and fails at that. I think the unit was received as defective.

Replacement Unit, Great Support

Greetings, We have had our U by Moen for three years. In the last year or so, the light would randomly start coming on in the middle of the night...lighting up the bathroom and subsequently our bedroom. We ran through all of the troubleshooting and Moen was excellent and replaced it. So now we are on our second unit, hoping that this issue resolves itself. The app is terrible, I dont even want to put time into writing that up, sorry devs...you have an opportunity to do a lot of fun and intere...

Head unit

I have 2 of these systems in my house. The valves seem to be ok but have replaced the head units several times. I have 1 head unit that is currently failed and it has taken a week to get a call back for warranty replacement

Love this thing!

I love the new features. This is much better than the old IODigital unit. Alex integration was simple. I wish there was a conversion kit to use the old IODigital cable that is buried behind my tile though... that would make the upgrade so much easier...

Quite the product

Just installed yesterday and so far so good. The hot and cold are reversed; but I read that in a review; so I knew what to do. Seems to work fine but I have not taken shower as I am regrouting shower stall. You have to get the right words to Alexa, but that's ok too. All in all, a great setup. Not too hard not too easy Look forward to many years of use.

Moen Contiinues to Impress

We remodeled our master bathroom in 2017 and installed the dual head Moen shower controller. We love the ability for two presets because my wife doesn’t take as hot of a shower as I do. After the alarm goes off in the morning, I can use the U by Moen app to warm up my shower before I get out of bed. The controller worked fine until this winter when one of the buttons stopped responding when pushed. I contacted Moen and within a week, I had a new controller that I easily swapped out. Just Installed

Still in the middle of remodeling master bathroom so I haven't used system a lot, only to set it up and test it. Manually operating system on the wall works well. When trying to link the system to my phone & home WiFi, it took 3 tries, even though I followed the steps exactly each time. Linked it also to my Alexa & Google Home assistants which seem to work well so far.

Great Idea but falls short and tech support is no

Installed and connected to the internet. Unfortunately this thing even just getting direct from the manufacture has 2 year old firmware which doesn’t have all the features listed. Tech support just has you do the basic unplug wait 5 mins and plug back in. My unit is stuck on firmware 1.0.6 when it should be on version 3.0+. Clients not happy and I’m not happy

Great shower control unit!

Bought 2! One for our master bathroom and another for our son’s bathroom. They both work great. Would definitely buy again.
