Awesome features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love that I can add more water to a cycle, and love the agitator for getting clothes clean. The tub is really big so I can wash larger items. Have not used the “smart” feature. Soft close lid is also nice since I have accidentally lost hold of the lid on my old washer.

Delivery was excellent and on time no hassle! First machine delivered had a leak from bottom of machine. Reordered through Lowes store and got a new one two days later and machine works great!

Replacement

Worst washer ever. Tech cannot solve problem.

This washer has a vibration problem. Shuts off almost every load because of out of balance. Top cover of agitator comes off often because of bad vibration. Washer is very loud. I am very unsatisfied with this washer. I thought I was buying the top of the line washer. I am unsatisfied with Lowe’s extended warranty Techs. Maytag you need to make a better machine.

Do NOT Purchase

Washing machine did not work on delivery. The delivery service was fantastic and ordered a replacement to be delivered next day. The replacement does not go through the spin cycles despite leveling, releveling, redistributing repeatedly. Own less than 1 week and I already have a technician to come to repair.

Fabric Softener Issue

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Whoever designed this washer to require you press a fabric softener to get softener to dispense does not do laundry. If I do not want to have softener, I leave it out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only had it a few weeks but so far, so good. My previous washer was also a Maytag and I had no complaints with it. It was 8 years old and still worked great. I hated to get rid of it but the lid (plastic hinge, left side at the back) cracked (stress crack) and just kept cracking and breaking off since it was plastic and lid would not latch like it was supposed to. Maytag Washer

So far so good washer works every well and is quite.
