I decided on the pet pro specifically for the dog hair of my lab. Overall, I recommend the pet pro washer & dryer.

Not worth the money

Well worth it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only used it twice so far but from those two times I can tell you it's one of the best purchases I've ever made the pet Pro feature got an enormous amount of hair off the clothes that otherwise would have clogged the pump and lines. It's got a large capacity stainless drum, quiet operation, outstanding warranty, and many cycle choices. I doubt I'll ever use the app but still a nice ad on for the more tech needy crowd I guess.

Pice of junk stay away

I brought this machine two months this junk is already screwing up when the water fills makes a whise noise then my blanket got real hot I couldn't touch for few mins I will never maytag all they junk crap

Do not buy

This washer is terrible. It throws itself off balance ever other load and needs babysat to run. Dont walk away you'll end up will error messages. I have been doing 2-4 loads of laundry everyday my whole life and have never had an un balanced machine so dont redirect this review to a link to learn how to load a machine. I dont want to troubleshoot every wash load. I've also had trouble with the spin cycle being stuck on for 8 hrs while I left. 8 hpurs!!! Washes havent drained at times. The door ...

Do NOT buy!

You would think a 5.3 cu ft washing machine could handle large loads but not only does it NOT but some clothes come out dry in areas. Doesn’t completely wet even when using deep fill. LOUD gear changes, struggles to spin 2 throw blankets. Contacted Maytag and they say normal operating 🤷🏼‍♀️

Had Higher Expectations

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Washer tub is roomy and Pet Hair removal feature works really well. The machine is a bit noisier than expected and I find that the start button is challenging to engage. Disappointed that Magtag didn't have the white washer with an agitator.

1 month old and having problems

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cleans well however it will eat your clothes. They have gotten caught in the bottom of the tub and had to be pried out. Additionally, the controls have locked up numerous times and has had to be reset on the machine and/or unplugged to reset to get the machine running again.

Just do it. It's well worth it.

I have two siberian husky mix dogs. It is not an uncommon thing to see tumbleweeds of hair blow about the house. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this for almost a month. So far I am very pleased. The pet pro filter does catch pet hair as well as some lint. My clothes are coming out clean and overall I am happy. I think it is slightly louder than my old machine, but it is tolerable even though it is located next to a bedroom. Would recommend.

Love the Pet feature

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been looking at this washing machine since 2025 when my dryer went out. My Maytag washer went out this out and it was a no brainer as we have 2 dogs. I have had Maytag washer and dryer for the past 25+ years. The Pet Pro is quiet, bigger, faucet to soak clothes and is a great machine. No complaints I am a Maytag customer for life!

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED

Purchased your high efficiency and energy star washer & dryer less than FIVE years ago and had to replace the heating element in the dryer about two years ago and now, your washer sometimes won’t start. My previous Maytags lasted about twenty years, I am EXTREMELY FRUSTRATED & DISAPPOINTED with YOUR poor quality machines. Apparently it is true, appliances only last EIGHT years or LESS!!!
