Not a real Maytag made by whirlpool

I want to spend the extra money to get a Maytag cause I always remember the commercials that they were one of the most reliable. Save yourself money and don’t do it since I got. I’ve had issues with the water love when I covering all the clothes I’ve had people come over to try to fix it approximately 4 to 5 times but negative results save yourself headaches frustration, and time don’t do it.

Useless

It’s so loud. You can’t wash any blankets without it walking across the room. Can’t get it to drain th blankets. Even just one blanket. It throws off th washer and I have to take my blankets other and take it to the laundromat to wash them. So I’m spending extra money on top of what I paid for this machine. The terror it has caused in my dog can not be undone. I can’t was regular loads now without sending my dog into panic and she is in constant distress. She’s never been this way before. Now I ...

Beautful Heavy Duty Washer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] LOVE my new Maytag washer! Very easy to use, the app to operate the machine remotely is easy to install and set up. Clothes came out super clean, but the impeller is easy on fabric which I love. The only wish I had for improvement is that we should be able to schedule it to start in more than 12 hours. My previous Maytag washer had that capability. You can only schedule a start up to 12 hrs in the future.

In 33 years, worst washer ever.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband bought this for me as a Christmas present. We are seriously disappointed. The entire cycle takes 2 hours for every setting, and if the drum is off balance (which happens ALL THE TIME) the drum refills and starts the spin cycle over again, which RARELY fixes the issue. Also, the agitator is so short that clothes can get caught on it and get damaged. Even after the long cycles, clothes aren’t getting cleaned like they should.

Maytag Quality Has Declined

This washer replaced a Maytag large capacity washer. The new one has a confusing control panel that is not intuitive. The washer often goes off balance when washing bath towels or bed sheets (not overloaded). The washer is much noisier than the old one, despite having a sound package. No printed owner’s manual or warranty sheet was provided.

So Far, So Great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this washer a little over a month ago. So far. We love it. Our clothes get so white and smell good. We have 4 dogs, and the pet filter collects a ton of fur with every wash. It's also very quiet. The navy blue color is beautiful. We got the impeller version, and I've been very impressed with the capacity. It hasn't gotten unbalanced a single time.

Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When turning the washer on it always says there was a power outage. When making certain selections for different wash cycles, it turns off. The pet hair option does nothing. For the price I was expecting a machine that performed better and wasn’t constantly shorting out and turning off for no reason.

Works wonderfully

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought it for specific purpose of the pet pro. We have 4 big dog and a few cats. It works really well on pet hair. Also really quiet.

Restart Issues

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Until a repair professional comes out I can not give the appliance a fair rating….I currently am having to do a soft restart each time I run the machine. Unplugging it has not helped….it may have been installed incorrectly. I just received it January 16th.

4 days after delivery controls no longer work

4 days after being delivered the power button no longer works. All troubleshooting websites point to control board failure. Lowes only offers returns within 48 hours. I am not going to start down the path of having to have a major appliance repaired within 96 hours of being delivered. I am buying buy from a more reputable vendor and having this 4 day old broken washing machine hauled away as garbage Infuriated at Lowes response. Lowes will never get ANY business from me again and filing...

Off balance

I have tried to make sure that things are ehvrnly dispersed in the machine but it always stops and I have to pull wet clothes around of even out of the machine to get it to go again. Maytag Pet Pro Washer

We had it Delivered on Jan 13. Worked for 1 week and then quit. They came out to service it and parts were ordered. 2 of the 3 parts came in the 3rd part is on back order with no time frame of coming in. This if Friday 3:30 Pacific time. Of course, customer service for Maytag is only open Monday thu Friday until 6 pm Eastern time. A BRAND NEW washing machine should last longer than a week.

Safe yourself the hassle

We had the washer delivered and professionally installed. From the first load on it had issues with being off balance and you have to basically stand by the washer the entire time it is washing so you can redistribute the load about 42 times until it will finally finish washing. Today we tried to wash a blanket. Big mistake. It gave up completely and the display informed us that we needed to call for service. After about two hours on hold, 5 transfers and partridge in a pear tree, we were given ...

Great all around machine. Efficient, easy controls and most important, it's "QUIET"!
