Unnatural sound in the washing and spin cycle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] we have had this new washer for less than a month, and used it only about 8-10 times, and it has already developed a loud "ticking" sound in the spin cycle. It is an abnormal sound that should not be heard in a brand new washer. We do have a call to the appliance store but will not have a technician out to our home until the 6th of November to check out the problem. Hopefully we do not have a "lemon".

Upgrade!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Our old Maytag was no longer working due to moisture getting into the circuit board. We love our newer model! Its quiet, easy to operate and washes everything as expected. Pleanty of options from towels to bulky items. I love the Extra Power option as well.

the best in Maytag washers

Nice washer but door is NOT reversible.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The only issue I have had thus far, after about a month of use is that the door on the washer is NOT reversible. It makes it much harder to transfer clothing to the dryer much more difficult with my laundry room set up. I did not focus on this when purchasing since the reviews were very positive, but it may be important to note this the you consider this machine. The machine washes well and is very quiet.

Never again, bad design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second washer. Both have had the same issue. The drain pump gets plugged and gives me a SUD error code. Drain pump is difficult to get to since a it’s on the bottom of the washer with no access door. My dryer is stacked on top of the washer so in order to get to the pump I haven to install my dryer every time. Considering they recommend cleaning the drain pump once every 6 months, this is a ridiculous design flop. My first washer la...

You wash and within say 15min to finish wash within one minute it stops. the same with dryer. Only way to use dryer is by doing the timer itself and setting the time and heat. The rest. It'll show 1+04 min to dry by 40 min it stops hate them both I wished I could have boughten something else. Whirlpool is the same. Didn't realize mag tac is made by whirlpool
