Great Washing Machine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this washer for a little over a month now, and I love it. There is so much room inside, it holds my comforter with easy. It has a lot of washing options, which I appreciate. Very happy with this purchase and I would highly recommend Maytag products.

Will eat your clothes

I’ve had this machine for over a year now and I wish I had gotten a different one. The filter requires you to remove the entire front of the machine in order to be cleared and the amount of items that have ended up in the filter is absurd. Tweezers, socks, bra pads, underwear. I have had to take this thing apart at least 20x to clear the filter or drain hose. Hands down the most frustrating machine I have ever owned.

Christmas gift to myself

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought it as a Black Friday special to save money and replace an existing stacked combo-unit. The new washer and dryer are very quiet an efficient.

Maytag washer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Happy with the washer, it just does n to seem to spin the clothes as dry as my other washer. I have the spin cycle all the way up, but I feel it does not spin the clothes out as much as I would like.

Terrible design causes issues

The machine throws error codes saying too many suds, won’t drain and locks the door. The machine needs to be drained as party of maintenance and to do so the whole fricken thing has to come apart because Maytag decided to not put an access in to get to it. I’m not calling out a technician and paying for them to take the whole washing machine apart every few months. I will never buy a Maytag again and will advise anyone shopping for appliances to avoid them as well. If this is how they design the...

Excellent wash cycles

Works Great, Less Filling!

Installed near the start of December after our previous Maytag gave up the ghost (bad bearing/repair would be more than a new unit) after nearly 20 years of regular use. My only 'complaint' would be the ending signal is not very loud at its loudest volume.

NOT user friendly

I have had this washer just a little over a year now and I am making the SECOND warranty repair. The problem stems from the design of the washer. There is NO place for me to clean out the lint trap. It's a feature in every other front load washer except this one. I have to call for a warranty repair just to have the lint trap cleaned out. Stylish and works well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the second set of Maytag appliances we have purchased. The first set we donated to a large family in need. After 18 years in service they were still running very well. The new set seems to be doing as good a job as our beloved old ones, but we do miss the interior lights and the buzzer letting you know your cycle is finished.

Great clean clothes

Great upgrade!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Maytag was suggested to me by my Appliance repair person after another American brand failed after only two years of service. I am very happy with the cleaning performance, quietness compared to prior unit and functionality. Overall this is a great upgrade from what I had previously. I should have started with Maytag and would not have had the issues I did. Buy nice or buy thrice!

Still unfaniliar with the options.

We are only 2 people at home and I often have a load of 3 or 4 things to do. Also, when I turn on the machine to start a wash, the ring light comes on around the load selector. DO NOT BUY

Features good on this model

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This specific machine has operated good so far. However, our previous one provided nothing but problems to us and a week after the warranty expired it too expired and was uneconomical to repair. It was however a top loading model so after three top loading machines in three years we switched to a front loader.
