We have owned this model since June 2024 and I would NOT recommend this machine. We owned an older version of this model for almost 11 years before purchasing this model. I can say this machine is NOT the "old Maytag quality". The machine worked fine for about the first week. NOT user friendly

I have had this washer just a little over a year now and I am making the SECOND warranty repair. The problem stems from the design of the washer. There is NO place for me to clean out the lint trap. It's a feature in every other front load washer except this one. I have to call for a warranty repair just to have the lint trap cleaned out. Self Maintenance Design flaws

A complete removal of the washer front and top is required to access the pump filter to remove hair, coins or other debris that most certainly will occur over the life of the front-loading washing machine. Poor Engineering / Design / Features !!

Washes good, takes longer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It seems the spin cycle does not get as much of the water out of the clothes as my last Maytag. Therefore it takes longer to dry the clothes. The Quick wash says it is only 15 minutes which we do not feel is enough time. The normal wash used to be 44 minutes on the older one or we could set the time but on newer one it is 55 minutes. Seems excessive. Glad we could get a new unit that matches our dryer.

The set is really easy to use and they come with cool pre set settings for everything you might need to wash its amazing i would definitely recommend them to everyone looking for a washer dryer set. Terrible design causes issues

The machine throws error codes saying too many suds, won’t drain and locks the door. The machine needs to be drained as party of maintenance and to do so the whole fricken thing has to come apart because Maytag decided to not put an access in to get to it. I’m not calling out a technician and paying for them to take the whole washing machine apart every few months. Not suitable for real world

Do not buy if you have pets or any kind of fluff that might clog the drain pipe. There’s no easy way to clean the drain pipe. After the two year limited warranty (of using the afresh cleaning mode regularly) the washing machine no longer works and simply flashes E1. F9. All of the manuals and help guides for Maytag demonstrate a very helpful way to clean the washing machine drain pipe that this machine does not have.

Was not what I expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Honestly if i could pick again, i'd pick one with a drain in the front (now that i know) - I've also only had my washer about a year and a half, and the drain pump blew (despite having technicians clean out the drain multiple times).
