Purchased for my pellet stove. No problems after about a month.

Great thermostat

Replaced old Filtrete thermostat with the Lux thermostat. I didn’t want to spend a lot of money for a smart thermostat like a Nest. Lux was easy to install. Works great. I don’t expect any problems.

Easy to hook up. But the blue light background not the best

Inaccurate temp

Does not keep an accurate temperature reading mine is 7 degrees off the other one I purchased is off 5 degrees and I verified with 3 different thermometers. Avoid

The Lux thermostat is "as advwetised". Easy to install and easy to program.

I reviewed and purchased for 3 reasons: 1) I needed a new thermostat to replace my old/worn out Honeywell. I have an older furnace and do not want at this time a wi-fi thermostat 2) Easy to read display that I can see across the room with touch screen and backlit display. 3) you can adjust the temperature swing points from 0.25 to 2.0 degrees. Easy to install & program. Works. The prior one of the same model failed after 6 years.

it's ok except for in manual mode, there is NO clock.... bummer, but it does look ok and large digital display

Replaced my old Lux

I wanted to give my home a much needed update look and efficient thermostat. My old thermostat was hard to read even with the back light. You can’t miss the large numbers on this thermostat.

THIS ALMOST BURNED DOWN MY HOUSE

3 weeks after installing the unit it started to malfunction. The first letter of the day of the week blinked and would not allow me to turn off the heater. I removed the unit from the base and it still wouldn't shut the heater off. Assuming it was the batteries I replaced them. Then 3 weeks later it happened again. I went on vacation for 2 days and came back to a house that was at 101 deg. Sweaty windows and all. The door knob to the closet where the heater is was too HOT TO TOUCH. I called LUX ...

NO good

I bought TWO of these units, and BOTH were DEFECTIVE. Had to return both. On my THRID TRIP TO LOWE'S, I ended up buying a Honeywell RTH2510B and highly reccommend the Honeywell. I DO NOT RECOMMEND LUX. Also the guy at Lowe's told me he has not heard good things about the LUX. No good, don't buy.

Very easy to install. Works great holding temperature and real easy to set up.

Great Product and Value

This was the third thermostat we attempted to install in our home. The first two were a different brand and were not working or did not have the correct hookups that we needed. This model was easy to install and looks great.
