Would Not RecommendOrdered in December 2016, this item was dead when I tried to turn on the heat this fall, 2021. Is it wrong to expect to get at least 5 years out of such an important household tool? I think 10 yrs would have been nice, the first thermostats we had lasted 20+ years. 3 year warranty, my credit card had extended it to 4 years, just not long enough to cover this. I've gone with a different brand for replacement, and a credit card that gives a bonus 2 year extended warranty.

Would Not RecommendBought this to replace a dated system in our home. Thermostat was properly installed and programmed but did not drive the AC. Returned it to Lowes and purchased the Honeywell brand. Five minutes later, Had AC. Stick with decent brands to save your frustrations.

Would RecommendI have had this thermostat now for about 3 years. It is worth every penny. Its really set it and forget it....the house is always comfortable. Easy to install and they have a support line you can call to help with the wiring if it get confusing.
