Need a new thermostat

Bought this 9 months ago. Replaced batteries 3 times. Heating and cooling off by 5 degrees. Now the house temp is off by 5+/- degrees. Because the house temp is off, the heater won't kick on. At 11:30 pm it is showing the internal temp as 78 degrees. It's actually 72 degrees. It's colder than it reads. During the summer it will trigger the a/c to constantly turn on and off. ;/

Nice product

Works as designed, installed on a pellet stove and is a huge upgrade from what came with the stove. But the best part of this product is the unwavering customer service... Easy to reach, answers all questions even the stupid ones... ;)

Love this thing

THis was a replacement purchase and after a lot of research I decided I didn’t need anything overly eccentric. This is perfect for what I wanted. I have it programmed and o kick on and off at certain times so my house is always comfortable.

This Thermostat is Junk!

I purchased this when my other thermostat stopped working. I should have replaced it with a Honeywell but I was cheap and went with this one. I can't, for the life of me, figure out how to get it to work with my heat pump! I have read the directions five times and it still won't kick on the heat pump and I have to hit emergency heat if I want heat at all and then it turns on the furnace. The temperature is never correct and I don't know if I got a lemon or what! I am going to spend the money to ...

Good value for the price

We bought this because we desperately needed a thermostat (no AC in July in FLORIDA!), but we couldn't afford the fancy ones, as tempting as their features might be. Installation for my Trane heat pump was a little tricky, since the pin pattern was set up very differently, and the labels were different, so I ended up with a black wire that I didn't know where to place on the new thermostat. As a woman I can honestly say this was so easy to install. Took me 10 minutes and I love it. Easy to program too

Easy to read

This is so easy to read when I get up in the middle of the night to make an adjustment in temperature. I don't have to turn on a light or put my glasses on.

Out witht the old and in with the new

Recently one of my thermostats died so obviously I needed to get a new one. I did some research on compatibility, programmability and ease of use and this gem came up. The reviews were right, installed and working within 20 minutes. would most certainly recommend this product.

Nice for the price

Easy enough to install, good idea to use the labels as you disconnect tour old thermostat. Wiring diagram is a little confusing, as long as you know what system you have it's all good. By system I mean what you are trying to have it control, furnace and a/c with fan, single u it system, heat pump, etc..Took about a half hour to install. Nice big display.

Packing Info Incorrect

Product package clearly states “For use with single or multi stage systems” in two different places. Advertises 2 heat + 1 cool on top of that. I opened it up when I got home and the first line of the installation instructions is “not compatible with dual stage systems.” Wasted $60 and my time. Will not buy this company’s product again
