Has many features to brag about like the adjustable settings for different time periods of the day, touch screen features, nice easy on the eyes back lighting and other features but for us the #1 feature is the adjustable temperature "swing" setting. Has possibilities but didn't work for me

Attempted to use with a heat pump, and this one specifies it will work with one. Followed instructions and used the enclosed chart. Finally got the cool air working. After several attempts and re-reading instructions, checking wiring at the air handler and trying a different wiring configuration, I still couldn't get the heat pump to engage in the heat setting, just the alternate/emergency heat strips. Finally re-installed the old thermostat which is working just fine.

Tried Honeywell BUT Lux was the best .

Have had Honeywell in just about every home I have lived in. But found the one that I had was off by several degrees. Bought another and installed it and things seemed fine, it was controlling the AC and was cycling off and on. Then went to sleep and woke up to my home at 64 degrees. Limited functionality, where's the manual?

Basically works, however: - The link to the manual is broken. Just how hard is it to provide a good link? - You can set ONE temperature, or override it with another; switch it to heat or fan or off, set the clock. That's about it. I think you can schedule different days to be treated as a weekend day, or not. Couldn't work out how to set the overnight temperature or schedule, if they even support that, and I work in computers. worked great for 10 days, my wife set the temperature up , it quit working.would not reset , it kept flashing. called company. they said circuit board is burnt out from static electricity. need to replace. if product is that sensitive, why would anyone want this ? this is rated as 5star. my experience is zero stars. don't need to do twice because of failed unit. do not buy touch screen

Love it. Does everything I want it to do. Very easy & fast to program (esp. with its "copy program to another day" feature). Very easy to install with very clear instructions on how to wire it, with a variety of illustrations for different systems and set ups; just find the diagram that matches yours, and you're done in just minutes! Poor Design

Looks great but suffers from poor design. Display not easy to read, painful programming and extremely difficult to separate the thermostat from the base plate to install. Had to call the company who indicated that Lux has received 1000's of complaints on this and his suggestion was to use a screwdriver to pry the two halves apart. A putty knife works better. Not reliable long term

We’ve had this Luxe thermostat for a couple of years, it has worked fine until a recent snow storm when it happened to quit running heat... we had our heat pump inspected and it ran fine when hardwired so the thermostat was diagnosed as the problem (although it appeared to be functioning and all wires were still in place). I replaced it with a Honeywell, sold at a similar price and was surprised by how much easier it was to install - no jumper wires required! The settings of the Luxe are a pain ...
