ICE MAKERS ARE CRAP

LG needs to redesign the ice makers on this model

The refrigerator appears to have design flaws; otherwise the ice makers would have been working flawlessly. The design is basically good but this model needs a much better warranty. There is lots of room in the refrigerator and freezer halves. Aside from the expensive ice maker repairs, I like it.

Not happy with this fridge at all

Two weeks ago the in-door water/ice dispenser light went out, and the freezer side of the fridge feeling very hot to the touch. We were told to shut off the power source, wait 60 seconds, then restart the fridge. The light did come back on; however this has been a recurring issue, with us having to disconnect and reconnect the fridge several times a day. We are waiting on a technician to inspect ...

I looked at a you tube video and saw the solution to my problem. You have to mash or push hard on the pad to get it to change a temp. I have a ccll phone, I own a Tesla. I also use my computer alot. Great Features and So Spacious

If you have a large family (and even if you don't), this refrigerator/freezer is just perfect. So much room inside both in the refrigerator and the freezer. The door-in-door feature is great too, whether you have children or not...saves opening the entire door to get items. The bins are extra-large on both sides and the ice maker is perfect. My only caution is to be very careful with the glass shelves when removing them. I already broke one when I was removing the tape from delivery.

Door in Door Refrigerator

We purchased this LG Door in Door refrigerator and are totally pleased. Love the Door in Door feature! The water/ice maker is awesome! Love the different kinds of ice options also. Additionally it is so quiet you do not know it is running! We highly recommend this LG product!

Fridge is leaning this affects clearances

Only had the fridge for a short time and functioning as expected. The listed dimension are not incorrect but the fridge is angled and if you have tight clearances to go through you should work on leveling the base so that the fridge is vertical when moving.

VERY DISAPPOINTING WITH NEW DESIGN FEATURES

I bought 2 new LG side by side, one with door in door and the other just regular side by side. The door in door has an ice craft thing. WASTE of space. It also has a thing called UVNano light. It runs 10 minutes every hour. CAN"T shut it off. WASTE of energy. For the rest of this review, When I refer to the issues, it includes BOTH refrigerators. Great function, great size…

I’ve had this refrigerator for over a month now and I’m glad i went with this side by side style. I like it much better than the French door style i used to have. The craft ice feature is pretty cool.

Great space utilization, most happy with this buy

This refrigerator is a great one if you're trying to maximize space and stay organized. It also has the fun party trick of big globe craft ice for cocktails. Very roomy, Craft ice cool

Bought it 6 months ago to replace old fridge and thankfully just fit into our space. Very roomy, craft ice nice! Didn't come with any bins so I had to order those, it dings if you leave the door open too long and can't turn that off, don't care for that. The installers also didn't balance the doors so the door closes on me every time I open it. LG sent a repairmen as we bought the warranty and he said he doesn't do that.

Bought an LG refrigerator which me and wife love; has two ice makers. It is very efficient and looks great. Can’t say enough about this product.
