Great features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased fridge over a year ago. Only issue was ice maker but LG replaced it for free. No problems otherwise. Love it!

Doors don’t close easy

I like this fridge overall but the front door doesn’t close easily and if not closed very firmly, will pop open. It’s annoying. The craft ice is fun but you lose a lot of space in your freezer due to that. It’s easy to turn off and use the space as freezer space tho.

THE NEWEST GUN!!!

My refrigerator is not even 2 years old, it's about 5 months shy of. I have had to have the icemaker part replaced because the ice built up to the icemaker and pushed against the little tray and broke a piece. THEN, the craft icemaker became stuck down in the tray and the tray will not move. IT'S STUCK AGAIN FOR 3 NOTICEABLE DAYS RIGHT NOW! ALSO, now the WATER FILTER will NOT stay in place!!! IT LITERALLY POPS OUT, ONCE PUT IN PLACE AS THE BOOK SUGGESTS HOW TO REPLACE. IT HAS ALMOST PUT MY 11...

I love it but the door in door catch is broken and I can not find the parts manual to replace it. The model number is not listed in lg parts.

Poor quality

I purchased this refrigerator in 01/2023. Everytime I close the refrigerator side the freezer side opens slightly, not enough to set off the dinging noise, but enough to ice over everything in the freezer. We have called LG twice, troubleshooted with them and nothing helps. The door is actually not even with the refresh door. LG refuses to help or be accountable for a defective freezer door. Will get Thermador next time I get a new refrigerator, if I'm still alive.

Great appliance at a great price

I love it! It has more cubic space than my last, yet it takes up less space in the kitchen. The setup is perfect for us. I can see everything when I open the door. I love that it has no handles. And the whiskey ball ice cubes are fun. I didn’t realize it doesn’t have a dedicated butter area. I thought it would bother me but it does not. There’s so much room, it’s not a problem. The price was very good as well, especially for all that we got.

Love the door in a door feature on this refrigerator. Also like the two ice makers. We are busy using both due to the advancing warm weather. My last refrigerator was white with peeling paint. This one is stainless. Love it!

Excellent Refrigerator

We purchased the LG side by side almost 1 month ago. So far everything has been great! The quantity of ice it makes in a 24 hour period is phenomenal. Extremely quiet; the only time I know it’s running is when it drops a batch of craft ice (they’re the size of golf balls). Keeping in mind, I HAVE NOT read the user guide yet, the only feature that didn’t work was the remote diagnostics feature (ThinQ). Over-all, we are loving the refrigerator and would definitely recommend purchasing it!

Like it but, how long will it last.

I like all the features, craft ice, ice on door, quick access on the door. But ice production is slow even on plus, and the craft ice maker already went bad after only one year. That means that if I want craft ice every year, I will have to buy the ice maker. I actually bought it for the craft ice and now I regret it because of the reliability issue.

Very Good Appliance

We have had this refrigerator for 6 months and it is a good appliance. The reason I don't give it 5 stars is the not so bright light. I have gotten used to it but, it surprised me after the installation. A brighter light or another light would make it look better.

Terrible Fridge & Customer Service

I bought this fridge for a new build home, and it arrived 27 days ago. Lowes did not test it when delivered. I turned this fridge on today and it beeps every 3 seconds even though the door is closed. I called Lowe's to ask for a replacement and they said it's not eligible anymore since it's not within 48 hours even though this was never used.
