Broken on arrival

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Arrived with side side door adjuster broken. Was replaced a few days later.

Known Defect

Discovered there is known anomaly with water filter housing. If you don’t remove the old filter perfectly it causes an inner plastic alignment tab that gets misaligned to accept replacement filter to fully lock in correctly. When I say known it is not mentioned in the owner’s manual but known internet wide. And LG does not make an alignment tool to realign the inner tab back to correct position. LG is not proactive with known problems

Very disappointing that after calling LG with all the problems I'm having with my ice maker for the craft ice they say oh yes we know it's a problem it was the first generation and we have a different ice maker now that we can replace it with we'll just mail you one and you can put it in yourself. No thank you you can come fix it

Great features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great refrigerator. I love that it has no handles! No handles gives it a nice sleek, contemporary look, and saves space. Although it seems compact, the overall volume is astounding. We pack so much groceries in but there is always still more room!

Terrible Fridge - ZERO Stars

Horrific fridge. Only one year old and alrady failing.

I love the fridge. However the craft ice maker broke after a year and l would probably prefer more freezer space and less dedicated to ice. The craft ice is nice for cocktails and fit in my metal water bottles perfectly when taking water on the go.

Does what it’s suppose to until it doesn’t

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have owned this refrigerator for less than 2 years and have had 2 service calls. One to replace craft ice maker and one to replace the compressor. Both times were under warranty and both issues were fixed as promised. Otherwise it’s a refrigerator that freezes and cools properly.

Overall very happy with my refrigerator. Only drawback so far has been the craft ice. Container must be all the way back for it to make ice. As soon as it makes ice the drawer pops back out. Every morning I open and push it back. Also having a problem registering online.

Bad water pressure | Poor Light | Easily dented

Very dark inside. It should have more lights to see all the contents. Really bad water pressure. it has only a small stream, which takes forever to fill out a glass. The door also got dented with minor pressure or hit. LG did not want to give warranty, passing the responsibility to the store, where bought; where they also denied because it was past their time. Bad experience.

Love the craft ice maker!

I bought this a few months ago and we have been mostly happy with it. The only issue has been with the ice maker in the door. It never fills the bin all the way, even when we don’t use it for days at a time. Other than that we love this refrigerator and have been very happy with our purchase. We especially like the craft ice maker!

LG (lots of grief)

Had refrigerator for just a couple of months & had to have craft ice maker replaced. Now barely a year later refig had no power. Breaker was fine, unplugged refig, checked outlet, it was working. Plugged back in - nothing - then about an hour later it suddenly had power.

Great Fridge except for the Craft Ice Cube Maker

I bought this LG refrigerator a little over a year ago and overall I am pleased with it. The only issue I have had with it is that the Craft Ice Maker stopped working then after repair made loud knocking noise. I had it replaced and hopefully all will be good with it now. Buy the extended warranty.
