Great washer but can't swap door position

It works great and was easy to setup! My one complaint is that the door cannot be swapped. The hinge is on the left, so you must install the washer on the right and the dryer on the left.

LG Warranty Warning

LG voided my warranty because I mentioned to the repair technicians that I really wanted the machine replaced. REALLY. Didn't last past two years

Do your homework before buying this machine. This model has a known track record of reliability issues that can make repairs expensive. Ours started with a faulty door lock switch and eventually escalated to a full motherboard replacement. Even the repair technician told us this isn’t uncommon for this unit. I bought this washer 3/17, delivered 3/18/2026. The cold water isn't working. A tech came out Thursday and said the machine was defective. A new one was supposed to be delivered today, 3/28/26. Insteat the tech showed up, said the installation was incorrect and switched hoses around. When I wen to use the delicate cycle the water is STILL HOT.

We previously owned an LG washer which lasted for 14 years. finally the drain pump expired and we had to replace the washing machine. Until the pump expired we had no other problems with the washer for the 14 years. good service in todays market. Recommend LG.

Do not purchase the installation from Lowe’s

I am extremely disappointed with my experience. I purchased washer and dryer delivery and installation through Lowe’s, expecting professional service. Unfortunately, the installation was done improperly, and it resulted in my laundry room flooding.
