Gets clothes really clean with low water usage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this washer in September 2016 and it leaks from the door. It has stained the front of the washer from the water and my pedestal is getting wet as well. I got to put paper towels in the pedestal so it won't run water inside. There is always hair and other stuff all over the door and in the rubber around the door.

I LOVE my Washer!!!

It seems to balance itself and spins like an airplane taking off. The clothes come out nice and clean and practically dry which saves cost on drying time. We bought the dryer to go with it and are not sorry. It is so energy efficient. We're impressed with the 10 Warranty. I can't not mention that pleasant little tune when it's done. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine washes and protects clothes very well. The Smart Diagnosis feature always defaults to warm washing, and getting the machine to take specific instructions, such as cold washing, can be tricky.

Wow, washing machines have really changed,

After one month with our new LG washing machine we are all pleased with its performance. All computer controlled, dead quiet and nice design. Lowe's delivered and set it all up in about 20 minutes. We are happy for choosing LG and buying it at Lowe"s.

Quiet/Engergy efficent

Not thrilled

Although I had read reviews so knew the drawbacks of these new machines, I had no idea how truly annoying they are! (1) Extremely long wash cycles (over 1 hour for a "normal/cotton" load). (2) Don't clean nor rinse very well (even using minimal detergent), so I always use the extra-water feature, but sometimes still end up running an extra rinse&spin cycle. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] when I not bought this product before I very interesting this, so after I got the washer ooooow that have to much problem, that do not have enough water to wash my cloth, when I put my cloth in the washer I never have see the enough water to wash my cloth I look my cloth like dry wash.

Front Load Washer/No Steam WM3170 CW

Hard to reach a drain pan and I'm using a gal. milk jug. Will say, that since I'm draining 3-4 cups of water after each load depending on load size, I'm glad they have the drain feature. Isn't any wonder washers without this drain feature got smelly with that much water remaining in their tubs. Clothes are now not nearly wrinkled like agit...

Quiet!!!

After having a very negative experience with a previous front load washer (different manufacturer/brand) I said I would never buy another front loader again. I'm so glad I reconsidered and decided to go with LG. This washer is so quiet I can barely hear it, even when it's in the spin cycle! Very little vibration.
