Had it a year and now leaking all over floor.

Bought it less than a year ago and it broke ruining my walls an floor.

Easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this washer a month ago. We had our previous washer for over 10 years. This one is easy to use. Has lots of different settings. It did leak a little water when I washed throw rugs. The machine became unbalanced while spinning.

Awesome machine I think I'm in love!

I realize now how much I love this machine because it really cleans well. It is super quiet and has a cute bell that lets you know when the cycle is over. What I really love about this machine is that it has a 15 minute cycle. As a stay at home mom that is doing laundry a lot, that rocks! I think I'm in love

IT LEAKS AFTER 18 Month!!!

Uses no water

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband bought this washer wm3170cw after our older front loader gave out. He thought it was supposed to be a good quality machine. I loved my first one and didn't realize how restricted the water is on the new models. This washing machine dampens my clothes but there is never any extra water in the drum except when I wash one or two items on the delicate cycle. If I pretreat my clothes with a spot remover they still Come out smelling like...

Great machines

Pass this one up!

Okay, I have had this washer (so sorry I didn't return it right away!) since end of April 2016. From the very first wash- I knew it was going to be a problem. The inside seal had a bad smell from the get-go. I know all about these front loaders and the issues with mildew smell so I wiped down this washer after EVERY wash! Not only that- the soap dispenser holds water after a wash so I pull that out and have to drain it and let it dry out. I ALSO drain the water out of the bottom. My question is-...

Garbage!! Replacing it after only 2 years!

This washing machine was fine until 2 years after purchase. First, the control panel started smoking (almost caught fire) and we replaced that. Then a few months the motor started ceasing causing an LE error code to appear with each wash. Costumer service was completely useless EVEN WITH A RECIEPT! I will never buy an LG appliance again... terrible company and customer service.

Waiting to find out

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My washer was delivered 7-22-16. Soon after it began to spin violently. Since then I have spoken to LG Customer Service 3 times. It has been leveled 3 times, but the violent spinning eventually showed up, sooner and sooner. Today Myrtle Beach Appliance repairman took the washer apart. The lower weight to the drum had come off and was on the floor. The damage to the guts of the machine is extensive. I want a new machine-I am not comfortable...

Love the App

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this washer for several months. The performance is great and I especially love the Android App. It makes it so easy to remember when to run the clean cycle. Clothes come out very clean with minimum detergent and water use.

Perhaps a lemon? Or just back service work.

We purchased our washing machine in late June. After a couple of weeks, it started giving us an error and not completing the wash cycle. I first called LG directly and it was determined Lowes was not using the recommended factory hoses. So I called Lowes and was indeed told no they do not use the factory hoses, but they do not think this was the issue. They then sent us to a 3rd part repair company where they guessed it was a valve. Whatever the case is, the repair company will not call us back,...

Wonderful, efficient machine!

My findings led me back to LG and I got another front loader. Am I ever glad I did! My new washer is ever BETTER than my old one. Quick cycles, quiet performance, and just a efficient way to do a necessary chore. It has a cute jingle when it finishes the load that is an added perk!
