Malfunctioned in less than 24 hours

Installed this deadbolt last night. Tested it multiple times. Worked in the morning for me, but when my husband unlocked it this morning it malfunctioned. It unlocked for him but then it kept trying to unlock even though it was already unlocked. It wouldn’t stop until he removed the batteries. Also, when it did work, it’s very loud.

Easy installation, works well.

Fairly simple to install. I'm an elderly female homeowner who installed it and re-keyed it without any issues. It works beautifully, and is very attractive hardware. I would have given it 5 stars if not for what I consider a design flaw. You have to unscrew the inside cover to replace batteries or to add and remove codes. I won't mind this so much for replacing batteries since, from what I've read, they don't have to be replaced often. However, t is a bit cumbersome to add and remove tempor...

Great lock

This lock is easy to install, add or delete access numbers and use. Great tool to use for properties used by multiple people!

Good lock. I needed a new one because my old was was sticking, works well and rekeying was super easy

Awesome

This smart code device is awesome! The only Thing I really wish it came with is the backlighting of the key pad at night. Other than that, it’s amazing! The product is also bumpkey proof, also vivant security uses the same one and adds on a few dollars to your monthly statement to have the device, save yourself some time and purchase/install yourself, it is very easy to do so!

Good lock!

I like the look of this lock and once you understand how to re-program codes...it's better...ha! Customer Service was helpful...just have to be on hold a real long time. It's great not having to search for keys in your bag at the end of the day- so I do like it a lot. The only thing I would change is the back of the lock should have a flip or something to make it easier to change codes - as you have to use the button key in the back and to get at it you will need a small screwdriver - so that ...

Push Button Ease

This Keypad Deadbolt was installed on 2 outside doors to replace keyed deadbolts. The fit was exact for all hardware. Instructions to set the codes and to rekey the lock to match my existing keys were very clear and enabled the installation to go fast. The Satin Nickel finish matched my other Kwickset hardware. They have worked flawlessly for several weeks now.

Who needs a key?

Now my parents can drop in randomly and let themselves into my home. This thing is a blessing and a curse.

Love it!

Super quick, quiet and efficient. It was also easy to install and priced right. I cannot believe I did not get one earlier, so much easier than fiddling with keys and you can program and delete guest codes easily.

Great lock!

We got this deadbolt because my kids kept loosing their house keys, I installed myself in just 20 mins give or take and I am not handyman/handywoman savvy, and it has been a lifesaver!
