Makes Crown Molding Easy(ish)!

I purchased this for my first crown molding project and am very glad I did so! There is nothing magical about this product, but I found it to be well worth the price. My only suggestion would be to use a bit of scrap molding to make sure your miter saw is set to the correct angle for each individual cut. Saved me time and money

I had tried cutting crown using guides on my saw like many videos suggest, but it was difficult to hold the crown in place and get consistent cuts. I also wasted an entire piece trying to figure out the cuts. So when I saw this tool I thought it could not hurt to try it...I made it so easy! Bought the product today thinking it would save me from making wrong cuts ( tired of flipping upside down and 180deg). Assemble the product and noticed that the lip on the bottom was too small to fit my molding ( molding was 4in tall but with a 7/8 large top scallop, top of the molding lays Upside down on product) proceeded to cut anyway holding extra tight. Great Tool

This guide made cutting crown molding a snap when I read the instructions and watched the video. The angle finder was missing but I called Kreg tool Company and they sent one right out.

Phenomenal product!

This product will take the stress out of installing crown moulding. I think one of the most important suggestions is to have a SECOND person holding the other end of the crown moulding up so the board is flush across the back and the floor of the Kreg device. One person cannot hold an 8 foot piece of crown moulding up in the air and get the board up tight to the Kreg device. not appropriate for all miter saws

My Kobalt compound miter saw engine housing on the right side of the saw would strike the top of the guide so half the cuts were not possible. Ended up not using it at all. The setting easily was changed making the measurement not accurate.

Don't cut crown without it.

I have been installing board and batten in our dining room and decided to add crown molding under the shelf for a nice look throughout the room. You have watched a million youtube videos and still it just isn't workin for you. Get this and follow the directions. THere are only 4 cuts to ever make. When you get to obtuse angles, use their angle finder and just use half of whatever spring angle shows. You'll know what I mean by that after you cut a few pieces. I cut six pieces to have one of each on hand to use for visualizing. along with their instructions, it's a breeze. Always mesure length by the wall or downward side of the molding.

Could not get by without it.

Bought this after researching techniques on YouTube. Directions were right on the money and I could not have put up my moulding without. Well worth the money.

if you have a compound miter saw, or even a miter saw I am not sure why you need this, set your crown upside down against your fence, and make the cut. I think this may be useful only for the most beginner novice and even then I think it introduces another source of inaccuracy. The adjustment is very rinky dink, it allows you to adjust the cut angle but the adjustment is simply way to coarse and inaccurate. The product does as advertised but for anyone who has spent any time trying to cut crown I would say just figure it out, if your a newby then this is worth investment
