Garage nightmare solved

I wanted to reorganize my garage like a fire truck. Being a retired firefighter we have a saying (load and go). Well I wanted my garage to to have that theme. I ripped out all my old dry rotted wooden cabnents and installed Lows K rail system so I wouldn't have trouble finding all my tools and yard equipment. versatile wall storage in my cargo trailer.

I bought this to mount different hangers, in different places, for different uses, in my 16 foot enclosed trailer. The mounts I show below are for when I use it for my carpentry hobby. I can change the hangers, and placement when I haul my Harley-Davidson. I would recommend this system.

saves a lot of space in the garage

it's a gorgeous product....saved a lot of space for me in the garage...my garage has now transformed into a totally new look, my neighbours were also very impressed after looking at these K rails. i got 3 of these rails installed (each rail is 50 inches) in my garage and most of the garden equipment is now hanging there by saving a lot of space. These storage rails are cheap however the hooks that come with these rails seem to be expensive...but it's ok, one time investment.

Instructions weak

Use mounting screw packet and the instructions did not even tell me what the best hole size was for mounting. Had to take a screw out and measure it for diameter and then figure best hole through the holder pad. Of course, had to use a smaller drill into the wall to ensure a good bite for the threads of the screw.

This product is very Heavy duty

This Storage system is the best I have ever used and I think I have used them all. Low Cost and High Quality.

Fantastic Rack System!

I've had "other" rack systems before and decided to try the Kobalt, which I'm so happy I did because it's the best product of the bunch. The accessories slide effortlessly along the rail and it feels rock solid. Great Job Kobalt!

I'm real happy with the ease of use with this item. It helps to keep things in their place in the garage.

Great storage solution

I bought the rail with some doubts about how strong it would be. I have used several tool rails and hooks to hold long handle tools and sledge hammers. I mounted the rail in the barn on bare studs and installed a couple of sets of hooks on it. The hooks snapped on the rail really easy and I started to load the hooks with rakes, concrete come-alongs, and shovels. Worked great, no sign of flex and held everything I threw at it. We will see how it holds up in the 100 plus heat this summer.

Easy-to-use garage storage solution

I've installed several of these in my garage. They accommodate a variety of accessory hooks to get a host of tools and other items organized and off the floor, and the design makes it easy to make adjustments. Kobalt has custom screws to install them and my only suggestion would be for Lowe's to keep these in stock in the same area where the K-Rails and related items are. Great for garage org!

Easy to put up. Lots of hooks and other items to use on the rail system. My garage is so much more organized after only putting up 7 of the K-rails and about 15 of the hooks Spent about $200 and am very happy with the entire purchase

Rail is easy to install and is easy to use. Great product.

Seems strong enough to do the job

I guess I didn't realize that this was a super plastic bar, so that was surprising when I got it home. I was also surprised that it didn't come with screws of any kind. You use your own screws to screw through the bar and into studs. It was a toss up between the Lowes Kobalt brand or the Rubbermaid available everywhere else. Great Wall storgae

I spent some time trying to determine the difference in wall storage systems and overall all I couldn't see a huge difference. However I am very happy with my choice in using the Kobalt system. Simple install- 6 screws per 4 foot section- all in studs. II have approx 12 ft of wall storage and have 2 shovels, rake, push broom, regular broom, extension cord, leaf blower, trimmer, edger, 4 ft ladder all hung up and I feel I could still hang from the wall mounts. ORGANIZATION PERFECTION

I hate a messy garage and I've tried to organize mine with pegboard. It works great for the smaller tools but not so much for the heavy equipment. My husband bought this and it's so versatile and strong. We've now organized our weedeater, blower, edger, chain saw, hedge trimmers, and other heavier items on this k-rail and it works great. Easy to get the needed item and easy to replace. It also looks good on the wall. Nice, neat and organized.

Great Versatile Garage Organization

I installed this K Rail in my motorhome mudroom. The reason I selected it over other competitors is that the accessories attach securely, and won't move or make noise while driving down the road. It is also easy to swap out accessories as the season's change, and you want to carry something different. The K Rail is very easy to work with.
