Not just for your garage

I've used the Kobalt storage rail in my garage as most people do, but I've recently found they make for a nice way to display my guitars in my home. The longer length works great along with the Utility hook to hold just about any guitar or bass.

Not recommended AT ALL

I have this system in my garage which was installed by the previous home owner. I liked it so I thought I would buy more to cover the entire wall. So I bought 6 of these rails and various k rail system hook. Long story short, none of the hooks(old and new) snaps in to the lower rail. My old system does. Hook don’t snap on any of these 6 rails I bought. They just hang onto the top rail. Also the thickness of these new rails are so much thinner than the old ones I have. I am returning all these an...

Go with Rubbermaid

I installed one of these in my garage it lasted less than a month. I have four Rubbermaid fast tracks also they have been installed over a year and I put a lot of weight on them. They have held up nicely.

Easy to install

Great adaptability once installed. A number of different hooks can be used. Also allows for adjustment of hook location when rehanging things (such as a ladder which never seems to go back the same way). Tip. - predrill only the first hole and start the screw in the predrilled hole, then position the screw over a stud and screw it in. Then use a level on top to position and then screw in the second and third screws without predrilling. Goes up fast.

Solid Product

I have many tools in the garage. I have used other brands of organizing products, but this one is my favorite. I have 5 of them on 3 walls and it keeps all my lawn & garden tools very accessible.

Storage Railing

I have used several of these in my house to hang up tools and various other items. They are excellent in situations where you are trying to maximize storage. I would recommend attaching them to a stud so that they can support any weighty items that you might want to hang from these rails.

Great Alternative to More Expensive Options

This is a great option similar to Rubbermaid or Gladiator garage storage rail systems. All of the hooks and kits are cheaper and just as good quality. My dad has the Rubbermaid and my brother has the Gladiator. I happened to inherit 2 kits of this Kobalt system in the house's garage we moved into and am glad. Awesome Garage Storage Solution

We bought two of these rails for our new house and its garage. We use it to hold shovels, the string trimmer, ladder, hose and other items. I am actually planning on buying a 3rd rail for holding snow shovels and lawn chairs in the summer.
