Great for organizing

I have four of these hangers in my workshop it went from a pile of yard tools in the corner to a well organized easy collection with no searching required. Good for heavy tools like sledgehammers and string trimmers.

design improvement

I had a desire to mount several pieces in a row. It would be most helpful if the design included a "joiner" to allow pieces to be combined into a longer unit. The current method is to stagger the heights to hit studs at the end of the length. That precludes from sliding the hooks along multiple bars as your needs change.

When putting two together, split between the studs

I worry this plastic rail will become brittle after a while as most plastic tends to do. It would be a tremendous improvement if these were made out of powder coated steel!

Excellent Product

We purchased the rails and hooks from our local Lowes to organize our tools in our carport. They worked great. There was a good variety of hook styles to meet all our needs.

Sturdy Storage Rail

FOr the most part this is a solid rail system. I got it to store my 2 mountain bikes which carry some weight, and after a year hanging in a FL garage, the plastic started bending away from the wall. I had to add 2 more screws to keep entire thing flat against wall so now I try and keep bike hangars directly over where I have the screws. Definitely make sure you drill into studs!

Rail system

This system is better than purchasing a Cabinet. Provides easy access to equipment and holds a variety of equipment. Initially I was going to purchase cabinets for my gear, but the rail system was much more efficient and effective. Garage is clean and equipment safely stored.

Purchased 3 of these to go with box set

We purchased 3 of these individual rails to add to the boxes set we purchased and installed. Love the system, very sturdy and a nice clean look. The problem is, the rail is too small and all the various hook/attachments just hang off the top rail. They are not secure and don’t click in to the bottom of the rail. The rails are now thinner than the previous models and the models from the boxes sets. I tried all the hooks I purchased on the existing rails I had from the boxes set and they snap i...

Storage Rail

I love this rail I put it up in the garage added the hooks that go with it and poof! I had my stuff where I could see it and it wasn't leaning against the wall where it could fall on the floor and trip on it. Plus it makes it neat and tidy.
