Cook top

I bought this KitchenAid stove a month ago but not very happy with the cooktop surface. The glass top is extremely difficult to keep it clean even even though I cook with lot of care. Have to wipe several times to get rid of the streaks. The surface seems to get scratched very easily as well. Even the stainless is a pain as it is not fingerprint resistant. Bought Kitchenaid brand only because it is considered high-end quality and have been disappointed.

Nice Range, but not assembled correctly.

KitchenAid: Bad control panel/simmer/broiler issue

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this range on Feb 29, 2024. Front left (small) burner does not simmer. It gets to 700 right away. Burns anything on simmer. Broiler only worked once, never gets red. Received a replacement in March and had the SAME issues. Broiler only worked 10% of the time. Tech tried to tell husband that both were working as they should, that the broiler should cycle on and off. NO, THAT'S BAKING. Broiler should come on and stay on. I'm sitting the...

Even heat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced a 1996 Maytag and so happy I chose this range. Cooks evenly and the oven heats quickly which is a big plus.

Great stove /w a caution

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Caution needs to be taken regarding children around this range . The stainless steel front becomes EXTREMELY hot when using the oven . This can legitimately burn your skin. I do not have young kids in my home luckily. Otherwise I like the stove and it’s design

Slide in unit cooks so evenly & baked perfectly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Decided to upgrade my kitchen and always wanted a slide in. KitchenAid was always a High-end brand. Also invested in a really nice 900 CFM hood vent. So the two of them together work very nicely. I have cooked on the cooktop and baked a pie in the oven. I am very well pleased with the way that it cooks so evenly and that heat feature on that one burner really rocks when you’re in a pinch and something to boil fairly quickly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been looking at all different brands of ranges and comparing them to Kitchen Aid and they don’t seem to have what I want. Kitchen Aid ranges are fantastic and I absolutely love my New range and our food taste so much better.

Great performance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this for a little over a month. I love the way it looks and the way it cooks. The cool down motor runs for a bit after using the oven. Once you set to your temperature and time for baking, and you clean while cooking like I do, you have to be careful not to touch the display panel as there is no locking mechanism to hold your programming. Overall I wouldn’t trade it and am very happy we made the purchase!

Good stove with easy to see electronics and dials

Some brands choose not to light their electronic panels‐even though marketing literature "depicts" a lighted panel. Then, unfortunately, some brands position their electronic/control panels at such an angle that they are almost unreadable without being lit. Good and not so great!

Pro's and Cons after a month.

The oven does a nice job, and I do like the use of 2 lights instead of the one. I have 3 problems with the range. First, it would have been nice to have a paper copy describing the various options and how to use, Even a download would have been adequate. The timer alarm is useless. Good range

Fairly basic range not many whistles and bells

Looks great, simple and timeless

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only owned for a month after replacing my 17-year-old KitchenAid range and so far, so good. Burners all function and quick to heat. Oven light is fantastic and baking has been consistent. My only criticism is the fact that it sticks out now because the true slide in depth no longer exists and we will have to have the soapstone behind our range cut to slide it flush against the wall.
