Nice Oven/Range features by KitchenAid

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago and because it is an upgrade there are features that I really enjoy; such as the versatile burner size that is optional from the control knobs. I also have a larger oven capacity which is really nice. The oven window is large and the two light bulbs really help when checking on my food in the oven.

Adjusting

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this range in November. It seems to take much longer to preheat than my previous range. Also, because the cooktop is black it’s difficult to see how dirty or clean it is.

All heating elements are out within 2 months.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Only lasted a couple months before all heating elements went out. No stove, no oven. I'm waiting on a repairman through the warranty to come out to fix it. The range is beautiful, so I'm giving a couple of stars for that. Otherwise, can't say I recommend. I may change my review if they fix it or replace it with a working unit.

Disappointed

Nice looking appliance. We have had this stove/oven for only 3 years. We rarely used the oven. When we did use it, it seemed to take a long time to preheat, and then the fan would run for hours afterwards to cool it down. The burners on the stove didn’t seem to have much temperature control, they generally were always very hot, no matter if they were set to high or low. Great - Just some things to know...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Kitchenaid makes wonderful products, this oven overall is sleek and large cubic center wise. My complaints are that after you turn off the oven it takes forever to cool down and the fan runs for a long time and not quietly. Additionally, I think it takes a while to heat up, much longer than my previous over.

Great looks. Okay performance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, the new range is pretty good. It looks great. The oven does take quite a while to "pre-heat" to the cooking temperature. The cook-top burners have what looks like some kind of glass defect of many little round bubbles in the glass.

Satisfied with Purchase

Much hotter at lower markings then the old cook top. Forget about the old ones settings and learn the new one. Much improved from the 20 year old one. Setting temp for baking was a problem. It would start preheat and hit 175 and not go any higher when cooking temp was set at 350 for example. It sat there for an hour. Shut it...

Beware!

My advice? Do not buy this range. The stovetop burners burn too hot and I have burnt so many things because of it… and that’s on the low setting!!!! Also, the oven takes an inordinate time to heat up.

Great Sturdy range, good control lock.

Not happy with KitchenAid range

A work in progress!

The dots that mark the burners look like crumbs that have been left on the surface and I am still trying to figure out how to use the various burners. Buyer beware! Glass top is horrible!

We purchased 6 months ago. One burner has a white haziness that will not come off. We followed Kitchenaid cleaning instructions using Affresh. Service evaluated and felt the cooktop was defective and needed to be replaced. Kitchenaid denied claim, stating this is cosmetic and only covered for 30 days. So now I am stuck with a brand new kitchen and a cooktop that looks horrible. When we purchased, we gave away a 25 year old Frigidaire range that cooktop looked better than this. Range didnt work

I bought this about a month ago and used it for the first time last night. I must say that i am pretty disappointed. The first time turning it on and there is massive buzzing noise and when you call customer service, it takes them over a week to even come look at it...Again, first time using this range and it didnt work properly.
