Nice Range- Has a few quirks

The individual elements of the glass cooking surface heat up quickly and cook evenly and predictably. Great warming drawer

Range

Sad no instructions on use

I’ll never know how to use the steam bake tool. Such an expensive appliance with no operating instructions. I would even pay for a manual

Heats quickly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this range very much. The only problem I am having is trying to so simmer something. The simmer setting is still a rolling boil. I was planning to call the company from which I bought the stove and see if the simmer could be recalibrated. Please advise.

Be careful

Not happy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 3 zone burner only does high. Setting any of the 3 zones to low or simmer results in it going to high. All other burners when set to low stay about 200 the 3 zone burner goes to 700. The service tech said he would order a new control module but I haven't heard back from him in three weeks. Also, there isn't a good users manual. Having replaced 30 year old oven I wasn't aware the door on this KitchenAid Range had to be closed for the bro...

looks nice but....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] don't like small burner in back. don't like the dots on the top surface. stove seems cheaply made. bottom drawer hard to take out. stove seems a little to wide for a 30 inch opening. don't like the lines on top of stove. the control panel needs to have light behind it to dark in the evening.

oversized oven

I found that the oven takes quite a bit longer to preheat than my former Range so I took off one star.. I know this oven has a larger area, doesn't seem like that would be enough to account for preheat times almost twice what it was before. Other than that, I'm very happy with the appearance and functionality of this Range.

Lots of options

Excellent range!

Our only concerns are that (1) the oven controls, which are electronic, are on the top, which can make them susceptible to liquid spills, and (2) the cooktop control knobs are very shiny, which, in a well-lit kitchen makes them difficult to read.
