Poor quality

My home was built and we moved there in spring of 2018. I have 10 of these detectors spread around my home. As of today i have replaced 6 so far. Most common issue is the 9v battery tension spring. It doesn’t hold tension to the terminals so the unit keeps chirping as if the battery is dead or missing.

Easy to install

Alarmingly Useful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got Kiddie i12060 smoke alarm. It needs to be hardwired into the wall to work and comes with a convenient front loading battery compartment. These work well so far. No annoying beeps. It doesnt go off when I boil water or steam the bathroom. I recommend Kiddie brand smoke alarms.

EASY INSTALLATION

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've never tried this brand of this smoke detector / alarm. It was easy to install since I already have the in celing hardwire connection installed, I just plugged it in, attached it to the ceiling mount, which was included along with hardwire connection adapters. I pushed the test button and everything was all set; it works fine.

Poor product

I just installed these a year ago for intermittent chirping and I already have another one chirping during the night exactly 7 days apart, 4 weeks in a row now. Battery has been changed.
