So far so good!
Would RecommendSo far it works fine, but it's only been 6 weeks. It's a bit larger than our previous InSinkErator unit (larger capacity) and I had to rearrange some things under the sink to make room for it.

Good product, but very low water flow from faucet
Would Not RecommendNice, beautiful stainless faucet, but the water flow from the device is quite low so it takes a long time to get meaningful hot water from it.

this product is so simple to use
Would Recommendinstant hot water and so easy to use a child could use it without any problem, just warn a child about how hot the water is so they don't get scalded

Hot water dispenser

Great product, with one suggestion
Would RecommendSomething is missing from the troubleshooting guide. If the vent hose (the clear one) is crimped in the hole in the counter, you will get a very small trickle out of the hot water dispenser. If so, loosen the nut connecting the faucet to the countertop and pull the hoses through a few times to be sure they are not being squeezed. Then re-tighten the nut. The product itself is excellent.

Performed as advertised
Would RecommendThe installation was the usual slightly cumbersome process of getting the piping through all the other pipes under the sink but this faucet worked well. It is sturdier and has a better feel than the previous unit.

This solid unit replaces the older, less expensive model. It was a good choice.
Would RecommendPeople told the life on hot water dispensers is not long and to keep the temperature monitored and at the low end of acceptable. I did and I liked the swivel tap but I didn't like the leaks and finally the noise as it gave up the ghost after several years. This model is much better made, more expensive and worth the additional cost in my preliminary assessment. It is a good solid unit.

Insinkerator products look great , but they do not last. Warranty is terrible
Would Not RecommendI had a similar Insinkerator SST and after the short 3 year warranty the tank started leaking . This seems to be a very common problem with Insinkerator and if you are OK spening $300 on a new tank every 4 years , than buy this. If you want a quality product with good customer service , stay away

Good Performance
Would RecommendWe've had several insinkerators. This is by far the best of the lot. Literally will eat anything.

Worth the premium price
Would RecommendWell made and works like it is supposed to. I like the stainless steel tank. There is no smell in the hot water like there is with a plastic tank. All installations are unique. In my case the vent line was too long but was easy to shorten. The supply line was too short so I had to add a length of copper tubing. Not a big deal just adds a little extra time to the installation. It was actually harder removing the old hot water dispenser than installing the new one.

Love it!
Would RecommendImmediate hot water at the push of the switch. Perfect temperature for a cup of tea every time. And it looks attractive next to my faucet. I didn't install the unit, but had to rate that category. The installation was excellent because I didn't lift a finger! Same with delivery time and customer service. I picked it up in the store, and haven't used customer service. It works perfectly. No need for customer service.

Excellent Product but treat it right
Would RecommendOur last house had one when we moved in. Fell in love with it. The key is making sure you do not set the water temperature to the maximum setting. It will eventually boil the water out and burn up the unit. We recently moved and the house we purchased did not have one. So we have since added it to the kitchen. Just love the way you can melt butter off a knife or get rid of the dried tomato sauce in an instant!

Great Under Sink Water Heater
Would RecommendI purchased a home with an insinkerator already installed. Never having used one before, I fell in love with the ability of having hot water at a fingers touch right at my kitchen sink. That insinkerator lasted 9 years without one problem. I recently replaced with similar model and am continuing to enjoy the ease and convenience of hot water at the touch of my fingers. (Love the beautiful, "ease of operation" separate faucet that is easily installed on kitchen counter top.) If I ever move from t...

Ease - Simplicity - Readiness
Would RecommendMy husband and I love this product. He has never had so many instant coffees late at night since we got the insinkerator. He doesn't have to make a pot of coffee or even a half a pot. I can make my tea in an instant! We love this product.

Involve Insta-hot
Would RecommendWe replaced a 10-year-old Insinkerator Insta-hot dispenser which had a failed thermostat. We use it every day, so it was difficult waiting for the replacement! The first thing I noticed was that this one is SO QUIET! I feared it wasn't working at first. Our old one growled when it was heating and we could hear it all over the house. This one can be heard only if standing next to the cabinet in which it's contained. What a nice surprise. As other reviewers have noted, the finish on the handle is ...

Lack of style and pretty noisy
Would Not RecommendI needed a low profile (short), contemporary instant hot water dispenser in satin finish. Apparently now that Insinkerator has cornered the market, contemporary and satin do not exist in the same universe. Since all my other faucets, appliances, and hardware are satin, I couldn't use the one and only slightly less fussy model, since it's only available in chrome. Sadly, the tank of this new system is plastic and must not be very well insulated, because it runs often (not related to use) and is m...

Product performs well but could be more durable
Product does what it should providing hot water on demand hot beverages or cleaning. However, unless it has been fixed in the latest models, the appliance has a built in weak spot that will severely shorten its life. This is a cheap plastic tube located inside the device that will become brittle and leak over time.
