I love it!

Love the fact that I can have instant hot water to make tea or cook pasta.

This Product has problems

I had a previous unit that worked very well for many years. But this new unit had problems from the first day it was installed! The handle gets stuck continuously and hot water keeps coming out! I have to be careful every single time I use it and it is very annoying! I would have to call the plumber again if I have to change it and that is quite costly!!!!

Missing Light

After one month of use the product is working as described. The tank below the sink should have a LED light on it when plugged in and activated. The only way to tell it is on is the water is hot.

Hot Water Dispenser

I've had 3 Insinkerator Hot water dispensers over the past 30 years and have always enjoyed having them handy. I've installed 2 of them - no issue. I did have to call for warranty service / replacement of the tank because the water would not get hot enough and I had the thermostat almost to the very top end. I will still recommend this product because they are reliable and they work work well over time. The warranty was also honored and with ease..

Does what it says

We like the instant hot water, especially for coffee and when we need boiling water for pasta or soup. I had to have a handy man install it because the space under the sink was cramped and it was too hard for me to replace the old insinkerator faucet. The new faucet’s polished chrome didn’t match the stainless sink faucet but I was able to get rid of the shine with light sandpaper.

The main problem that we had was the process of getting the service people to get their collective act together. Promises not being filled, promises not being fulfilled and overall lax of customer service manager. Working up the management chain to Emerson, we finally reached a person, who true to his work, finally had the replacement unit shipped. This is the 3rd unit we have had installed. Quality product but short life.

This is a great product, but only lasts 3 to 4 years before it stops working and must be replaced.

Great Instant Hot Water Dispenser

Every time I move, I install a hot water dispenser. This is a little higher end than I usually install. It was SO worth a few extra dollars. It works instantly. So far, no boil overs either. The only problem was the power cord was too short. I had to hire an electrician anyway because the outlet under the sink was on the disposal switch. I needed an all of the time hot outlet. Excellent Convenience

We have used this faucet for 8 years. Still providing super hot water. Friends and family tell me they want one too. We have very hard water and it is not showing any signs of build up.

Indispensable !

I replaced one that i had for 5 years . We got a new sink and countertop, so i just wanted it switched out. It still worked. This hot water dispenser has a million uses. It takes labels off jars, grease out of clothes, cleans jewelry, and makes a great cup of tea. Cant live without it !

Hot water

I replaced my hot/cold water heater and valve dispenser. The removal and installation was simple and completed in less than an hour.

Great product with one design flaw

I love this product with one exception. It uses a plastic "shark bite" type "y" connection. These are hit or miss and a frequent cause of leaks. This one leaked . I did not want to wait for insinkerator to send a replacement of the same problematic part so I used a brass y connector and it works fine. I realize these shark bite things are easy to use but you risk plumbing leaks now or in the future and I would rather pay a little more and do a better quality install

Near boiling water on tap!

I’d come across sinks with boiling water on tap during my time working in Australia. When our existing filtered water faucet broke I did a little investigation on under-sink water heaters and the Insinkerator units had the best reviews. Installation was very easy. I use it for my morning tea, and my wife likes using it as a “pot filler” to fill pans for pasta. The super-hot water is also good for cleaning, but take care you don’t burn yourself.

Produces hot water on time

This is our third hot water dispenser over 20 years. The last two were Insinkerator and they are great for their function. My wife uses it all the time

performs as described

this was a replacement unit from my original insinkerator system using the f-201 filters. So when the hot water tank started to rust after many years of excellent performance, We made the decision to upgrade to the newer filter system. The only change we do NOT like is that the cold water no longer clicks to stay on...That feature on the original was really helpful---not having it is a problem for us.

My husband loves his hot water heater

When we purchased our second home it came with a hot water heater. My husband came to love it. We moved four years later to another city. Superior product

This is our third instant hot water unit in 14 yrs. So far, it seems to be built sturdy and is great looking. We had it installed by a plumber who recommended this product. Very happy with it.
