Instant hot water

So nice to have instant hot water at your fingertips. Great for making tea, oatmeal, etc. No need to put the kettle on the stove or use the microwave. Love it.

Very happy thus far!

This hot water dispenser is a replacement for the previous model. Lasted approx. 5 years, but I use it several times daily.

Can't live without this

Boiling water in a pot is not for me so when our instant hot insinkerator died we immediately had to purchase a new one. The design is a bit different but everything else is the same. The only reason I gave it a good instead of an excellent on ease of installation is because the area under our sink is very small and crowded and it makes it extremely difficult to install the insinkerator without having to disconnect the garbage disposal first and then install and put the garbage disposal back tog...

Replacement for another hot water dispenser

After a lot of research, I chose the Involve H-Wave InSinkErator to replace my old hot water dispenser. Since this was a different manufacture, I was concerned the installation would not be simple. Not only was it simple, I only had to buy one pipe connector to connect the unit to my existing water line. We’ve had the InSinkErator installed for several weeks and it delivers instant hot water for our tea and coffee.

Mostly perfect

This Hot Water dispenser was bought to replace a counter top model to free up some space. While it definitely did that, the only negative, if you can even call it that, is that you can hear the heating of the water throughout the day, while the counter top model we had just kept it at a specific temp without any noise involved. Once you get used to it though, it is not an issue.

Our new Hot Water Dispenser is reliable, easy to use, and just great. Highly recommend it.

Why didn't we get this sooner!!!

Why didn't we get this sooner. It is so handy to have hot water on demand. Perfect for tea and certain cooking activities. It was really easy to install and temperature adjustments are easy and quick. We use it daily.

Useful and look good

Clearly the professional plumber had not install this type before many times, he said the hole side does not fit. I looked at the manual, it has two side, the smaller larger side can be done by removing the smaller size hole. I helped him to install.

OK, but

There aren’t many alternatives. This on doesn’t produce the temperatures claimed in the advertising and it spend a fair amount of time “on” keeping the water hot. Probably not enough insulation. The competetion has an inferior warranty and dribbles because it is an open system. Installing the faucet behind an existing sink is tough. Ther is a wing nut that has to be run up a long, long screw and then tightened securely. It would have helped if they had provided some sort of tool to facilitate...

Does not heat water to 200F

If you are looking for “near boiling”temperature, this just won’t do it. I have it set to max temp. I emptied the unit, waited to hear it “reboil” the water, used a candy thermometer while I filled a hot glass measuring cup (preheated in the microwave with water). Max temp is 170. BIG difference from their stated 200. Tested it many times—always falls wayyyy below their stated temp. I’ve had the entire unit replaced under warranty in the past. This one is less than a year old. Great cup of tea very time

I am really picky about tea and this hot water tap passes all tests. We had a professional install and he did have to do it twice but I think it was not the fault of the instructions, but the tight spot it is in under the sink. No complaints! Great appliance.

Hot Water Dispenser

We purchased this Hot Water Dispenser to replace our old one of the same model that shorted out internally(probably from corrosion buildup over time). A Hot Water dispenser is one of the handiest appliances to have in a kitchen. The only reason I did not give the new dispenser 5 stars is because the shut off valve is a little slow to close when the dispenser handle is released, which wastes some hot water.

Works well, install difficult though.

This is the second one of these instant hot water dispensers I have had. This one differs from the first in that the copper tubing is quite a bit shorter than the previous one, and, thus, I had to splice a piece of copper tubing to the provided one to make it long enough, a pain. In addition, the unit is secured in the sink by a single hex nut; for the unit I purchased there was no tool to tighten this, so it was extremely difficult to do so; there is really nothing to hold on to on the faucet t...

Love this!

It is so convenient! Love it. I drink hot water instead of coffee. This is so easy and easy to use to heat baby bottles.

Does not shut off immediately

The only problem I have with this model is that the water continues to flow after I have released the handle. It’s only a small amount of water, but I almost burned myself the first time. Would be a problem for children and anyone cognitively impaired. I assume this is how the appliance is meant to operate. The plumber said the insinkerators are easy to install, and he certainly was able to get it installed pretty quickly.

Excellent operation, works flawlessly

We replaced an older model with the Involve H-Wave Chrome instant hot dispenser. We immediately noticed the sturdier construction and quiet operation. We are very pleased with this hot water dispenser and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Instant boiling hot water at your finger tips

House came with it it. Greatest kitchen addition for cooking, drinking and eating. Replaced twice over 31 years. It's like a minuture hot water system as you have in your basement.

Installation requirements have changed!

We had new granite installed and ordered this new insta-hot. The hole put in the granite was standard for insta-hots; however, the plumber was unable to install because there has been a design change in the product that requires a larger hole than the previous model. After the granite installer returned and enlarged the hole we had to pay for the plumber to return. Because thissize is unusual, the customer should be flagged on this fact.

We are pleased with this product

The InSinkErator hot water dispenser was installed about two months ago by the general contractor who coordinated the renovation of our condominium's kitchen. Thus far, we are very pleased with this product.
