This is a must have

It is so nice to have hot water instantly for coffee, tea, hot chocolate. This is our third one. The first two had plastic handles and they broke. Now we have a metal handle. Love it.

Make sure of size of opening

I spent extra money to get a nicer looking faucet when replacing my 2007 Insinkerator Instant Hot. I had a plumber come to install it. When we removed the old faucet, we realized that the hole for the 2007 version was smaller than the newer versions require. So we installed the new heating unit, but had to reinstall the older faucet.

Great product

Bought this to replace an older unit that still worked but didn't match style of our new kitchen. Works great. Only issue is that it continues to flow for a little bir after you release the lever, creating the possibility of getting burned.

this is my third heater wish they could be fixed instead of paying full replacement. I'm very handy but the control thermostat corrodes rest of unit works fine

Product stop heating water after 3 weeks in service

Bought new upgraded model with stainless steel tank and it stopped working after 3 weeks

Our 3rd insinkerator hot water product. good but difficult installation

Instalation of filter to unit was difficult. it kept leaking. Also I disassembled the old unit and found the internal tubing was the weak link. It lasted only 3 years.

So far, so good.

This is my 4th InSinkErator. I love the ease of hot water, 1st thing in the morning, for my tea. I probably use it 4 - 5 times in a day. I have never had one for more than three years though. The tanks leak after awhile. I have to replace the bottom of my sink cabinet after this last one started to leak. I do wish that part could be improved.

Useful product

We use this all the time. It provides water that is almost boiling. These have a usual life of several years, then they burn out, so I have purchased four over the years. The latest one is a little less satisfactory than previous ones, in that the water presure coming out the spigot is too low, but is not adjustable.

Can't be without instant hot water

This is our 3rd insinkerator. When we bought and remodeled our home in 1995, this was the one luxury I really wanted. I use it for everything that needs boiled water! Love it. But the life and depreciation of the insinkerator is about 7 years.

Instant Hot Water is Awesome!

This is our second purchase of an InSinkErator instant hot water faucet. Beautiful design. We wouldn't live without this product!

Nice unit.

The water heater was a bit challenging to install because of tight spaces under the kitchen sink. It heats water very quickly, but does rumble a bit while heating (yet quite tolerable). The quality is good and the faucet looks good.

Just what we wanted.

The product was well-packaged and arrived in excellent shape. The instructions were simple and installation was not difficult. The push-on fittings were great. The instant hot water is always available when we need it.

Works as advertised. Audible heating at times

I have had several similar devices and experienced relatively early failure after 3-6 years. This is my first In-sinkerator brand. Easy to install, heats well and nice faucet handle. More expensive than other brands. Since only a few weeks since installing, it is too soon to know about reliability. Seems to go through heating cycle more frequently than other units, and a little nosier when heating; sounds like it is boiling, but only set on 7 of 10 on the dial. Keep a bucket underneath the tank!

I'm a bit disappointed with the tanks on these products. We put hot water heaters both upstairs and downstairs in our home. Both lasted about 7 years and then the tank started leaking. Unfortunately you don't know it is leaking until it has made a mess. I replaced the first tank when it began leaking but am debating what to do with the second one which has now failed. I'm not sure the convenience is worth the potential damage.

Perfect!

Installed this myself the first week in January 2017. This is great. Have instant hot water. I lowered the temp from the factory setting to 175 degrees. Have had no leaks and the dispenser works great. Wish we had one sooner. The hardest part of the whole install was getting the hole in the sink but I got it done.

Good product for home

I have enjoyed having instant hot water for several years. It is convenient and easy to use. I like it so much better than boiling water in a pan and never had liked boiling water in the microwave...so this is the greatest!

all is good

4 adults and 2 grandkids...can't believe how often we use this for beverages as well as cleaning purposes.

Larger tank than I had before

I gave only 4 stars because there was a split in one of the tubes when it arrived. I called customer service and they were prompt to replace the part. However, it meant two installation calls to get the product working. I am happy about having a new instant hot water source. After having one available for 20 years, it was so annoying to be without one for a couple of weeks.
