What Customers Are Saying
The instant hot water dispenser is generally praised for its convenience and performance, with many users highlighting the benefits of having instant hot water available for daily tasks. The product is described as effective and easy to use, with an improved lever mechanism. However, some common issues are noted, such as challenging installation and concerns about the product's lifespan, with many reporting leaks or other problems after 3-6 years of use. The high cost of the product and replacement parts is also a point of criticism.

Would RecommendThis is the second one I've had. The first one crapped out after 2.5 years of use. It wouldn't shut off. If first started out as a trickle and would eventually shut off. Then the trickle wouldn't stop. Then it went to almost a free flow. I had to shut of the water to the sink. The model I had I couldn't find a replacement so it was just easiest to go to Home Depot and buy another one. Unfortunately I had to get the heater with it. So now I've got a back-up if that ever goes. It was easy enough t...

constantly is heating
Would Not RecommendI have had an instant hot for many years. We moved to a new house the end of April ( about 2.5 months ago) and the builder installed this model. It is constantly heating and making a rumbling sound. I have it turned to the lowest temperature and it heats to 150. I spoke with the support for the company and they say this is normal. I would like to be able to adjust the temperature better and turn off when we are out of town without unplugging. I do like the faucet and controller.

Hi! We appreciate your thoughts. The tank maintains the temperature of the water inside of it. You may hear rumbling sounds every after a few minutes ...
It works great
Would RecommendThe product works great. I always have hot water. It heats up very quickly. It is overpriced for what you get.

Tremendous product, 4th one we have owned
Would RecommendGreat product, easy to install, we've had 4 of these in two houses. Hot water at an instant makes coffee, tea and hot chocolate a snap and instant hot water for cleaning and sanitizing dishes that do not need to go into dishwasher.

it does procude hot water instanty and the new handle to activate water is better than the button on our previous model
Would RecommendInsta hot appears to "heat up" often and it makes a ratehr annoying rumble every time it goes into heating mode. i do not know if this is supposed to happen or not. Also our prebious inta hot where you had to push a button to release water and the button stuck all the time did not make this rumbling noise and it did not appear to go into heat up mode as often???

Hi! Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. A rumbling sound is perfectly normal and is simply the tank adjusting to maintain its set temperature...
Instant hot water is a must!
Would RecommendWe have had an instant hot water heater for decades. This one, the View, is the nicest design so far and compliments our new countertop, sink and faucet. Another plus is the heater is very quiet, unlike our previous unit. Instant hot water is very useful in so many ways beyond making hot drinks, such as rinsing off dirty, crusty dishes, and all the way to even softening garden hoses when making repairs. I have found many uses for instant hot water. I recommend it to all who will listen.

Looks and works great...time will tell
Would RecommendLove the look and very easy installation. This unit gets normal use. I hope they improved the tank over the last generation, I had to replace two heater tanks over a five year period,

Good product. Poor lifespan.
Would Not RecommendThe heating unt works great until it fails. I've gone through three of the water tanks and each has had a lifespan of 4 to 6 years before developing leaks (which cause damage to cabinets and doors of course). Considering I use this about once per day on average, I figure that's costing around 10 to 15 cents per cup of hot water. My most recent purchase included the H View dispenser. I have not had issues with the handle as some have described, but it is starting to show some pitting. At least I ...

Instant Hot Water-Works Fine
Would RecommendOvercame metallic/plastic taste present for first few weeks and estimated 7 to 10 tanks full. Now working and tasting fine. Very convenient to have hot water instantly for coffee, hot chocolate etc. Lever style works easier than push bustton style that wouldnt shut off fully if food drippings accidently got into the button assembly.

Reasonable price
Would RecommendThe price is most reasonable and delivery was on time. This is the 2nd one I use, the first one last about 6 years due to the faucet leaking.. it was easy to install following instructions.

Works as advertised
Would RecommendIt works perfectly fine as a hot water dispenser. The product should have come with all of the needed parts for installation. After multiple trips to the hardware store, I finally had everything I needed to install. One other thing to note, the unit is loud when it is heating the water. I will need to build a sound proof box to put around the unit to keep it more quiet.

Good -But
Would RecommendThis is the 4th unit that I have installed in the past 20 years or so.The first 2 units eventually leaked. A replacement tank was sent and it was much better designed - it didn't leak but shorted - threw the GFI, The unit lasted for 7 years and after dissembling the unit found no rust in the tank. My first 3 units I kept the same faucet stem. This last unit I purchased with a different stem design - Although sleeker the installation was much harder - first the hole was too small for the new fa...

Works as designed and looks great
Would RecommendI have had some type of InSinkErator hot water dispenser for over 30 years. I replaced the first one after 30 years because I was updating my kitchen. Two years later, when I moved to a new home, the addition of an InSinkErator was written into the sales contract- could not live without! I did not order this directly, nor did I have it installed myself, so I really can't speak to those items, but they were required entries.

Excellent Performance
Would RecommendThis unit is the third unit we have installed since 2002. They do not last forever, but they do have a very good longevity about eight years. I highly recommend this dispenser, it performs perfectly every time.

Good product, poor longevity.
Would RecommendThe insinkerator hot water system works very well and this is my third unit. The only complaint would be that my previous two failed long before the 3 year warranty expired. I’m keeping track this time around.

We replaced an old Insinkerator
Would RecommendInstallation was a challenge only because I moved the unit to the other side of the sink. The unit works great, I won’t have a kitchen without one
