This product is great.....instant hot water anytime you want a cup of coffee, tea or just to sanitize knives after using them.

NICE LOOKING

This instant hot works well, and matches our Delta Faucet nicely. It didn't get a 5 for performance solely because, the water flow out is slow.

Do Not Buy the Twist Handle Models!!!

Buy this!!! The twist handle models wear out in a couple of years. This model will last. The only reason I have to rate 4 stars is after about 7-8 years the tank will eventually start leaking. We are still hooked and will always have an insinkerator. It makes heating baby bottles a breeze without ever overheating like a microwave. You’ll always have coffee, tea and hot cocoa water ready on demand. Plus, whenever you need up to 2/3 gallon of water boiled, it’s boiling in a few minutes.

Replacing older unit no longer available.

This is the third hot water dispenser for us. First one just got old, second one was fine but we updated sink and counter top and wanted a new unit. The older units are one unit compact, easy to install and work just fine. This unit is two piece, bigger and have to be connected together as well as to the sink and water.

Solid feel. Works well.

This was a replacement for another InSinkErator which became loose when the washer under the faucet broke. Also the former faucet style was a round twist handle which was difficult to use when your hands were greasy. I like the design of this model. It is a solid press down handle. Another model I considered was a pull forward handle like a regular water faucet but when mounted on the left would have the handle on the right which is inconvenient. Got that? Good product

So great to have instant hot water! Tea whenever I want it without teakettles on the stove or electric ones taking up counter space. Also good for dissolving powdered drinks instantly. A shot of boiling water on a stuck on food item helps remove it. Very happy with this product!

Quality project

Quality product looks nice in the kitchen and works great. Worth spending a couple of extra dollars to get a quality product

Style is good

Does not supply real hot water. I would have like this unit to supply water at a temp of 180.

The quietness of this product is a welcome change from what we had before

The garbage disposal that came with the house (new construction) was very loud and took much longer to clear. The new one is very quiet and has a very quick response. No more do I hear "turn that thing off".

Not hot enough

I was planning to use it for coffee making that requires water at 195F, but the max I can get is 180F at full setting. Not enough.

Great when working

First one only lasted three months then started blowing GFI breaker. Replacement is so far, so good. Only about a month old now. Also had to buy / make an extension for the copper fill line as it was too short to reach my valve.

This product is stylish, reliable and user friendly.

Our family is very pleased with how this product is able to instantly provide steaming hot water with the touch of your finger. It has made even cooking faster when you need to add hot water to your cooking.

Like instahot

This replaces an instahot we already had. I loved the old instahot, but we remodeled and decided to replace our old one since it was 7 years old. We had ordered another model from a building company, but it came in the wrong finish so my plumber purchased this model. It is noisier than my last model, but other than that I like it.

Good For What It's For

We purchased from HD as an open box item at a pretty good discount. We installed this to replace an older model that had started leaking and then, quit working. Install was just a few minutes, maybe half an hour. It works and, if it lasts for more than two years we'll be happy. We use it to make coffee in a french press mostly. The one flaw we've seen is, even at it's highest setting we aren't getting 200 degrees. About 180 sometimes 185. I'm going to look for a time for this so that...

very nice product

We were replacing an older white plastic hot water dispenser (sort of clunky design) and we are very happy with the sleek design that is easy to use and doesn't get in the way of using the sink for other purposes. Love it!

Great product

Installation was simple and straight-forward. The only improvement I can think of, would be, swap out the hard copper lines with flexible braided stainless steel.
