Our first one was actually retrieved from a house renovation and after 4-5 years it started to leak,(was probably 10-15 years old by that time) so we purchased a new one as we use the instant hot water unit for teas, herbal drinks etc. We are very happy with our purchase and the installation was easy.

Very loud, sounds like it is boiling and going to explode

Been in a month, keeps water hot, but really loud. Sounds like it's going to pop.

I have had several hot water dispensers in three different houses. this is the current model we are using in two of our homes and we love this one the best. easy to adjust and install.

Love getting the hot water instantly!

My husband I disagreed about the need/desire for this product. But I use it all the time. Can't believe that I went so long without it. We had a new kitchen sink installed and we found a perfect match for the hot water dispenser and the new faucet in the sink. I use it for making tea and hot cereals, cleaning off stuck-on food on plates, and hot water for cooking. So handy and it is instantly hot, no waiting for water to warm up from the faucet.

Great but wish the tube was longer

This is my second purchase and I really like the product. However, this time the tubing that connects the dispenser to the tank could be a bit longer. Previously I had no problem making the connection, but this time the tubing is just an inch too short.

Performs well...as promised

I have only recently had this product installed so have only used it a few times but it performs well as expected. Water is always very hot and does not come out so hard and fast that is splashes in and back out of the cup as I have seen others do in the past. You can hear it when it heats up but it's not so loud that it's annoying. Very pleased and satisfied with this product.

Updated from prior model. It is excellent, however doesn't shut off instantly.

Easy to install. Works great. This unit replaced a prior lower model unit. Only complaint is that when handle is released there is a short delay until flow stops. This may cause a situation where burns can be received.

Works well but could be easier

This waa a retrofit into a sink with holes drilled for previous two hole faucet. So the holes were drilled in granite cabinet top...The faucet base was too large for the hole just slightly.....it would have been a better fit if there was a little more tolerance for a retrofit. We homeowners and plumbers do not always have a drill capable to drill granite. With the adjustment ring it would not matter if the faucet base had been a bit smaller in diameter. Nice product - Installation could be challenging if you have no plumbing ability

Replaced the smaller Emerson HOT-1 (which fail about every 2-3 years) with this unit, and I hope for longer life. It certainly heats effectively, with more volume, and looks better on the counter. Installation was pretty straightforward. I did have to splice in a little extra length of copper tubing because my mount point for the tank was too far from my water supply connection, but that was easy enough.

Excellent Instant hot water dispense!

I love my new InstaHot! You can set the temp as you like and it performs flawlessly. I highly recommend this product.

Stainless steel tank should stand up better than copper one

I hope this units tank doesn't leak like the other 3 Hot 1 units I had installed. The Hot 1 units only lasted a few years before the copper tanks started to leak. I went with the H view one due to the stainless steel tank.

Replacement hot water dispenser

I bought this as a replacement for basically the same model that leaked after about 3 to 4 years of service. Part of why I bought it was that I thought that it would be a very easy swap out of the old and in with the new. I ran into the change of design of the shortening of the connection piece to the incoming water which caused me to have to buy additional pipes and then the compression fitting and nut were missing. Probably some MBA or engineer got patted on the back for shortening up the conn...

Looks good & works good.

This model is good value for the price paid. The one draw back with using this brand is the hot water heater will need to be replaced at least once every 3 years - based on our experience. If you're lucky and it fails within the warranty period, you get a free replacement (on site). We still end up buying another one - so far we're on our 3rd purchase in this home. Except for that, we like the quality of the dispenser. The push for hot water handle is really nice. Delivers hot water instantly.

When it's working it's great!

After seven years of pretty much continual use the water heater portion began to leak. Had to purchase a complete new dispenser and water heater in order to replace just the water heater portion. Wish we could have just purchased the water heater portion as we are still using the dispenser from our old one. Our old dispenser is configured to be placed at a 90 degree angle since the top part swivels. The new dispenser doesn't swivel so it remains new and in the box it came in.

So far it is a great product. Replaced with the same kind that was there.

No problems

I was able to install this Hot Water dispenser by myself and have not had any problems in the month I've been using it. Handle is metal and seems very sturdy (as opposed to a plastic handle).
