Sweet product. Easy to install for the experienced. Wish product would have come with water line, tee and fittings though.

This is the third unit we purchased

We have the same model in three homes and love the convenience instant hot affords us for beverages. We are prolific hot tea drinkers and use the instant hot insinkerator throughout the day. Highly recommended.

Product very easy to use

This product is a great addition to the kitchen. It is our second unit. We just had our kitchen remodeled and decided to update the Hot Shot to satin nickel to match the faucet. We are very glad we did as it matches the faucet and fixtures perfect. The old unit would not have fit anyways because the sleeve wasn't long enough to go through the new counter material. Love it!

I love this product. It is so nice to have the instant hot water for tea, soup, etc. Much better than waiting for the water to boil on the stove!

Good performer

Works well, somewhat noisy as compared with previous unit, does not shutoff immediately as handle is released

we do not want to without this unit, it is so convient to get a quick cup to qt. hot water, rince a dish, warm a cild coffee cup, etc

We have purchased perhaps 4 to 6 units over last 25 years, early ones had steel tank, then the norm seemed to be stainless steel tank which lasts much much longer. We simply need to replace after 4-6 years due to use. Need a small amt. of warm water, take some cold and warm with the hot tap, not long wait for the pipe from 40 gal. water heater to discharge in sink before hot arrives from water heater. Good quality and relatively easy to install. Works like it is supposed to. Have used InSinkErator products (Hot water dispenser and garbage disposal) in the past and they just keep getting better!

Love it

I never got warm water right away in my kitchen due to my pipes being too long. So I decided to purchase the insinkerator. Love it!!! The setup was pretty easy, the connections on the other hand a bit tricky on my end due to my motion sensor faucet. I decided to have a plumber install it. Couldn't be happier, works as a charm. Use it for dishes and it's hot enough to have instant tea water.

Reliable

We have been using Insinkerator Instant Hot Water heaters for 20+ years. The units last about 8-10 years. The unit is easy to replace. Hot water instantly saves time and money based on internet research. While the Insinkerator was out of service, I used an electric kettle where I had to wait for the water to heat. Happy Day once the new Insinkertor was installed.

This product is very poorly designed in regards to the dispenser.

Purchased this product a year ago but had to buy a replacement model as the faucet would not stay together unless you held the back. Purchased a replacement model at the beginning of March 2017 and had a plumber come and install it. The water dispenser on the new model is broken as it barely allows any water to dispense. HOT Water

I have used InSinkErator for years and love the instant HOT water.

Very satisfied with the product.

Do not have to wait for hot water, I love the overall performance of the machine.would tell anyone about this machine if they were looking to buy one.

Works like advertised

I do wish more models had the rotation feature. The one I got doesn't, but it does still work. I did miss installing the paper washer because instead of packing all the accessories together, the washers were against the cardboard and are almost the same color, so I missed them until after fully installed. I was able to tighten it enough for now.

A feature CONCERN

We replaced an Insinkerator with an Insinkerator. The first one lasted eleven (11) years. I was most satisfied with it, but it began to leak from the heater box. The new one does NOT swivel at the faucet, as the prior one did, which I preferred given different sizes of cups to pans which I require hot water filling. Would NEVER be without instant hot water! We use this product several times a day!

Great after market product

This is a great little add to any home. Very easy to install. Product works great and has not had any issues. My only issue was that this product does not come with a T connector that is required for installation. If you read other reviews and even the box it says that it does not come with the part. I just felt it is something that should come with it.

Good product but has issues

Works as expected. Good compact design. I hope the handle which is not replaceable doesn't break like the last one did.
