Good product, easy install

Fit into a tight space and still easy and quick install. Recommend getting a basin wrench or a sink & faucet wrench for tight areas. Easy to understand instructions, everything went together as shown. No leaks, no skinned knuckles. Great for a quick hot cup or clean ups. Very satisfied. Only possible negative is that it makes a rumbling noise as it runs through the reheat cycle. This occurs all thru the day and night. It is not noticeable unless everything else is quiet. Good purchase for the price

It's noise when you are not use to it. But overall we are satisfied.

Long time loyalty to this product

2nd house using this product. 1st one got installed 2005. 2nd and 3rd ones installed 2011. One of the 2011 installs ran continuously and perfectly until now, early 2022. Think 10+ years amazing! So handy! Prefer lever handle to push button. Lever is easier to use while holding a cup, etc,. especially if you're right handed. & lever just plain easier. Once you have one these, you will get so used to it that you won't want to be without one!

Need to rethink the design

We replaced our previous Instant Hot dispenser that we had for 15 years with trouble free performance. The only reason we made the change to this dispenser is we wanted a satin finish instead of chrome. We are having problems with the push button sticking open. We spoke with tech support and they recommended using CLR (calcium lime remover) on our new dispenser. Again, never an issue with the previous model. Faucets are nice but the instahot sucks!

Insta hot button sticks so you need to hit it with a fork to get it to turn off. Horrible design!!!!

A Must-Own Kitchen Accessory

I don't know what I'd do without this instant hot water dispenser! I use it for tea, single serve noodles, cleaning, all kinds of things (even removing sticky labels off containers). My whole family has these. The water tastes fine (no different than spigot water), and you can make it as hot as you want (scalding at hottest). I love it!

I have wanted this for a long time as I drink a LOT of tea and constantly have the kettle boiling. It is maybe not quite as hot as the kettle but I got used to it after a few days and I absolutely love it! Making tea and coffee is as fast a pouring a glass of water! I filled a pot when making pasta and had it boiling in no time. We have also used it for cup a soup. Water tastes funny - but enjoy the convenience

We ordered one and it leaked - we received another one and it isn't leaking. My only negative comment is that the water tastes funny. I thought it would taste better as it was used but it still tastes funny - so I don't use it for as much as I would like - bottom line - I'm not as happy with it as I'd hoped.

Very expensive to run

My electric bill went up significantly, by over $200. last month. It is very costly to run.

convenient appliance to have available

Laying under the sink is the hardest part of installation. Connections are easily identified. Instructions are easy to follow. It's ready for use with-in minutes after installation. The price is a bit high but everything is over priced these days. It would be nice if it could be ordered with either a right or left handed handle.

Excellent Product

I love the much improved dispenser button over the old-style lever (which broke).

Easy install and works great

The unit was very straight forward to install and looks great. I had online reviews regarding the button sticking, so I hit it with WD40 prior to installation. 30 days into using it everyday many times per day I am very happy with it. I replaced a KitchenAid unit that lasted more than 10 years, so I hope this one does the same. One note, this heater unit is a bit louder than the last one.

Performs well right out of the box.

This is my second hot water dispenser at this house, the last one lasted for 10 years. This is the first push button dispenser we have tried and I hope it holds up to frequent use, on and off. As mentioned by another reviewer the under sink bolt could have been a little longer for ease of installation (hard to hold everything in place). Easy installation

Unit lasted just over a month after purchase. Called Insinkerator and they will replace the tank under the warranty. We like the convenience of having instant hot water for cooking. However, this will be the third unit in 56 months. The first lasted approx. 8 months. The second lasted 47 months and the most recent lasted a month.

We had one in our previous location and had to have one in our new home. What a great addition to a new kitchen

We now use it every day, we missed it during the transition of our move

very nice unit

this is a replacement for my old HOT-1. I did read reviews on this unit and don't understand the negative ones. Very nice design, pretty easy to install, works very good.

Instant hot, just as advertised

Should be standard equipment in every kitchen. Works wonderfully every time.

Works well except...

Heats well. My only beef is that the faucet is fixed and does not swivel making it a bit impractical as one would like to rest the pot being filled with hot water onto the counter.

This product works well

The product provides for instant hot water but the spout is large and immovable making full use of sink difficult. It would be better to have a smaller spout with the option to move the spout out of the way when doing dishes.
