This product seems to work great!

The only reason I am hesitant to give this more than a great rating is this is now the second and same product I have had to purchase this year. The first one was also excellent however at 9 months it developed a constant drip that could not be fixed only replaced. Am hopeful this one is better.

Works well.

Only thing we would change with this model is the ability to adjust the flow of the hot water stream. It was installed by a plumber so can't answer to ease of installation.

A very useful and convenient product.

Moving up north into colder territory has made having hot water beverages on demand very convenient for me. It is connected to our reverse osmosis system so the quality of the water is top notch. This hot water InSinkEqrator was well worth the investment.

Not our first insinkerator and not our last

We heard about them from a relative, bought one ourselves and never looked back. Just recently replaced our old one and anxiously awaited the arrival of the new unit . Surprising how quickly they became a “must have” item

Great product

So nice to have immediate hot water for tea or hot chocolate

Works good, but does not last long

This is our 3rd HOT100 under-counter hot water dispenser in the last 4 years. Our plumber did not rate them good at all. Hope we get longer service out of this one, in not, it will be our last. Works great as long as it functioning.

Hit 100 Chrome

I purchased two of these units for use in two different areas. I have had several of this product in the past and generally love them however, this one continues to spit out water. I tried to lower the temperature but that did not work.

Love it!

Instant hot water is a relatively inexpensive, easy to install luxury! We have had it in every home we've had and it makes life just a tiny bit easier... We just replaced a unit that was about 15 years old. I'd say that's pretty cost efficient!

4 years and still going strong!

I installed the unit when we bought our house 4 years ago. We use it daily and it has never failed! My wife is from England and uses it for tea daily. Her brother came to visit and thought there was no way it was hot enough for tea, until he burnt his hand testing it out LOL.

Pressure valve for the water on button is sketchy

The pressure button requires quite a bit of pressure for the censor to work properly. Had it professionally installed by a plumber. It would not shut off and had to play with the copper tubing for quite a while to get ienough pressure to get it to quit running water and work properly. I paid for a plumber so was worried I was going to have to pull out to return. Will have to wait and see if the pressure valve holds up.

Needs one minor tweak

We like the product. It is our second Insinkerator. I was happy to see that they engineered out the drain plug on the bottom of the tank as this was the weak link that made our last Insinkerator fail. What we would like to see is a reverse of the handle motion on this model. It seems more intuitive (ergonomics) to want to pull the lever towards you to dispense the water. Instead they have it designed so that you have to push the lever away from you which requires a further reach across your sink...

I had our first InsinKerator for 21 years, very pleased so I replaced it with the same model

Considering the number of years I had our first InsinKerator and the fact it worked for 21 years I replaced it with another and hope to get 21 years from it.

Hot water dispensor

Product looks great! Happy wife, happy life. My wife loves how she no longer has to heat water to make her tea. .

Needs to be hotter

This is my 4th or 5th Insinkerator hot tap. I think the build quality in the tanks is improving, which is welcome, given the overall cost per cup of water. I am still disappointed in the max water temp. It needs to be 190F.to brew tea. Last time I checked it was 170F and it is now dropping dramatically. If I’m going to wait 60-90 secs for the microwave to get the water up to steeping temp AFTER the hot tap — need I say more? I chose stainless this time to match new Delta fixtures. Close, but no ...

Nice hot water faucet

Matches my Brushed Nickel Kitchen Faucet. Strong flow. This is my 3rd In-Sink-erator Hot Water tank. It replaces my second one, which lasted 9 years before it began spitting air and hot water.

faucet wont turn off!

My unit is about 18 months old and the button is now just stuck on, now what????

Love it! My favorite gadget

Love this! How did I get along without this? Makes hot/iced tea easier/faster, opens sticky jars, faster cleanup of greasy dishes, and I find new uses every day. It’s hot every time. I drink more tea because it’s so easy. There is a slight noise when heating the water and it takes up a little space in the back corner underneath the sink but it’s minimal. I’ve owned this 2 months but trust the quality and Insinkerator brand so expect to be happy for many years.

Don’t buy!

I purchased this unit about a year ago and the heating coil is grounded (burnt out) already! Could be because they manufacture it with the coil touching the metal base when it shouldn’t be touching anything. Bad design choice.

Unmovavable spout

I gave an average performance rating because the spout doesn't move. The previous one I had would swing out of the way if I needed more room at the sink. The problem could be because the unit was brought to me by the installer. If another was available, he didn't tell me.

Love design

Easy to use with just a push of the button. Only issue was started to drip about a week after installation. Read installment booklet. Tried every suggestion. Would stop for a few days and then start again. Then stopped altogether after about a week and have not had any issues since. Hope this review doesn’t jinx it.
