What Customers Are Saying
The Insinkerator instant hot water dispenser provides quick access to hot water for various kitchen tasks like making tea, coffee, and oatmeal. Customers appreciate the convenience, but report issues with durability and reliability, such as the button sticking, leaks, and a relatively short lifespan of 2-5 years. Some users recommend considering alternative models, especially those with a lever-style faucet, as the lever design seems more reliable.

Would Not Recommendfor the most part instant hot fixtures tend to to smaller sink and service areas, not in sinks that have garbage disposals and other large under sink fixtures. This fixture needs larger anchor bolts for easier access to tightening up the fixture

Love it.
Would RecommendI have had hot water dispensers from Insinkerator for roughly 25 years. All have performed well. Like the style and finish on this one.

Not hot
Would Not RecommendI love it if the water would heat up. We have done everything according to the instructions and cannot get it to heat the water and before any asks the outlet is good

Spout too high.
Would Not RecommendThe unit works perfect, looks good and was easy to install. Our kitchen faucet has a center spout with the handle 4" to the left and the HOT100 4" to the right. The faucet spout used to easily swing over our old unit spout but not the new higher unit.

Not a Good Experience
Would Not RecommendI have owned a hot water dispenser manufactured by this company since 2001. When it was time to replace it naturally I stayed with the brand I know. This one has been nothing but a headache. Customer service is great, the product is awful. The plumber installed the new insinkerator and it leaked. First with a drip, then a constant leak of cold water. Called customer service, they walked me through some troubleshooting steps and decided to replace it. The replacement squirts water out of the hole...

So far so good
Would Recommendit takes a bit of room under the counter but if you have the room the installation is fairly easy. Works great so far. Ask me again in a few years or after the warranty lapses.

The definition of convenience
Would RecommendI am a tea lover and to be able to have instant hot water for tea is a blessing. No more waiting for the kettle to boil. A nice little luxury in my life.

Good ... could be better ...
Would RecommendLike everything about the product except the length of the tubes. Another foot would get it done and afforded more flexibility as to locations.

Love this
Would RecommendWe purchased a 2022 Tiffin Allegro Bus and manufacturer installed a insinkerator. We love the ease of pushing a button and instantly you have hit water. I gave retired the kettle, less clutter on the countertop

Easy install
Would RecommendEasy install, this product is all that you hope for. Love a product that works exactly as advertised

Fawcet doesn't seal closed.
Would Not RecommendIt worked great for a year or so. After that I have had to push the button multiple times to get it to seal closed. After that, dust or other debris is getting in around button so that it sticks open on top of not sealing when "off." It even starts running after it has been off for several minutes.

Tank failure
Would RecommendBought this unit because I needed to replace the water tank from my prior "Instant Hot." In my 30 years with these products in my home, a tank seems to last about 2-4 years before either leaking or failing to heat. For some reason, just buying a tank costs a lot more than buying the whole faucet / tank assembly. Surely, Insinkerator could do better, with a longer lasting tank that is more cheaply available.

Hot water at the touch of the button!
Would RecommendI really like the sleek look of the faucet and the one touch button. So easy to make tea, fill sauce pans with hot water or anything you need hot water for in an instant.

Works fine
Would RecommendReplaced a much older version that worked fine until the faucet broke. Replaced with this,m. I did my research and pulled the o-ring out of the button before I installed. It’s worked well since installing.

Insinkerator
Would RecommendI love this hot water dispenser. According to the plumber, this was easy to install. Works great and looks nice. Easy to adjust temperature of the water. Does the job and such a convenience to have instant hot water in the kitchen!

The faucet assembly was defective upon arrival.
Would Not RecommendThe pushbutton shut off valve on the handle assembly remained stuck in the on position right out of the box. It was replaced under warranty, and although the new one performs better than the original the pushbutton occasional sticks and on occasion water passes through the faucet when it is in the off position.

handy but worried about button
Would RecommendWe have had several of these units. Eventually they leak but last for years before that happens. This one is not very old but the button has already started to stick so it can be tricky to get it to turn off

Terrible product!
Would Not RecommendI've had the same issue as the last user..stuck button...replaced it with a new unit and within a couple years...another stuck button....save yourself the time and money and headache.

Would Recommendexcellent product which makes the review too short

Very nice product and ease of use.
Would RecommendI would recommend this product for instant hot water. The push button feature is so convenient, especially if you have arthritic hands. I had this product installed by Ken Griffin Plumbing Services. So I really can’t comment personally about the ease of installation, since I did not install it myself. However, the professional plumber installed it quickly.
