Replaced an existing 7 year old model.

This is a better unit in terms of operation and appearance than the previous unit we had. The handle is easy to operate and we are very pleased with the performance of the unit. The temperature adjustment is easy and we are very satisfied with the unit.

Performs as intended

This is my 3rd instant hot water unit. While it performs similar to my most recent model, it appears to be constructed of lighter weight materials. The faucet handle appears to be very thin plastic. Due to my concerns of it breaking and/or malfunctioning, I kept the faucet from my previous model. If the new version breaks, I'm hoping I can use the old model.

Lasts and lasts

The new stainless steel tank is great. Unit I replaced lasted over 11 years. No problems at all the entire time. Highly recomended. By the way I have three of these units. I even installed one in my travel trailer. You

I was happy with the offer to get a discount for replacing the old InSinkErator. It was easy to install where old one was and is now working well and keeping my wife happy.

Perfect

I love it and can't live without one ( well, wouldn't want too!). This is my second one. The first one lasted for years. I use it all the time - for a cup of soup, hot chocolate, etc. and also to soak dishes. Works great to get your water boiling on the stove quickly.

Love it

I have had a hot water dispenser in my home for 10 years and love the convenience of the product. This product was installed by a plumber since I don't have the tools. It seemed to have taken a little more time than I remembered to get rid of the new product taste in my water.

Heats water consistently and effectively

Hot water is consistently available, always very hot, and is easily dispensed. The faucet presents a larger profile than I was used to with my previous unit. I had to change my habits in terms of where my hot/cold faucet is situated and where I placed my left arm because I inadvertently turn on that water when turning on the instant hot. Does require someone that knows what they are doing (Qualified Plumber). For them it is easy installation. Very satisfied with the results. Instant Hot water.

multiple uses

This is a useful home product. This makes the fourth or fifth one I have had over the last 35 years. Earlier models didn't have stainless tanks and didn't last as long. This replaces one that still functioned but was spitting and spewing because of air in the line. It didn't leak but apparently had a bad tank seal. Hopefully this one will last longer.

Hot Water at the Push of a Button

Best new addition to our kitchen as it used to take 45 secs to get hot water at the facet. You can adjust the temperature higher than your 120 degF tap water to use as a source for "pre-heated" water in cooking. We have it set for 175 degF and works very well.

Recommend - but....

We love our insinkerator but this is our 2nd one. The first one which was in the house when we bought it, failed and leaked hot water all over to the point where we are in the process of replacing all of our hardwood floors on the 1st floor because of the damage caused by the water leak. It works great and I don't know how we survived while waiting for the new one for our hot tea every morning, but boy when it fails, it can be VERY expensive.

I can't live without it!

As a tea drinker, this instant water heater makes my life so easy! Filtered, hot water is always at hand. If you're done with microwaving one cup at a time, kettles on the cooktop, and electric kettles that constantly need refilling, this is the answer. It's the third one I've had (three different houses) but all have been installed professionally, so I can't speak to how easy or difficult it might be, or delivery time and customer service.. The newer model takes up less room under the sink.

Great Product!

The original hot water tap lasted over 30 years, raising two sons and countless cups of coffee and hot tea. Really like the faucet with this unit. Great product.

excellent addition to sink

Spiffy with faucet and soap dispensor. Great addition to sink for fixing tea or hot drinks and also to clean with really bot water and to save water while filling sink with hot water.

Good looking and works well

Becoming dependent upon it for hot water. Could use a drain plug at bottom of reservoir for long term non use. Very inconvenient and impractical to empty as suggested in instruction booklet.

Love it.

Love this hot water dispenser, has multiple uses. Use it daily. The only problem is the last two dispensers had problems with handles breaking just after warranty expires and no replacement parts available do to product discontinued. Had to buy complete new units, otherwise would have given 5 stars.

Works and looks great

We love it. I went to Lowes FIVE times to try to get line reduction plumbing hardware for our existing plumbing- which is up to code and nothing unusual ... once it was plumbed correctly it has been a delight.
